I’ve watched this probably 100 times at this point. This one quote by this one juror is radicalizing me in ways I didn’t know were even possible: “He had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously k*lled her children…” I don’t know where we go from here…

@mattvanswol I already imagined this when the exercise bands were reported as the method. Only pure rage or fear can drive a person to keep killing in such a personal, deliberate way- over and over. Rage is not insanity. Clancy wanted to get back at Patrick for whatever reason. Guilty.

Poczas procesu biegli również mówili że duszenie musiało trwać długo. Dłużej niż się ludziom wydaje. I to się robi naprawdę przerwżające. Od ostatniej rozmowy z Patrickiem do jego powrotu minęło 35 minut. W tym czasie niby usłyszała głos mówiący jej że ma je zabić. Zabrała je do piwnicy, udusiła, następnie wbiegła na górę, pocięła sobie ręce i wsyję. Poruszyła lekarstwa w kubku (perfidna ekspozycja) i to połknęła. Po tym skoczyła z okna. I TO WSZYSTKO W MNIEJ NIŻ35 MINUT!?!? 🤬 Wiec jak ta cala psychoza się pojawiła i ekspresowo działała? To jest tak idiotyczne i absurdba linia obrony ze ręce opadają. A to jest cała masa innych dowodów jak wielokrotne wyszukiwanie w google psychozy, poporodowej depresji i innych haseł związanych ze sprawą. I to na wiele dni przed morderstwem. Trzeba być kompletnym idiotą żeby uwierzyć że to nie było zaplanowane i s premedytacją... albo tadykalnä feministką którą najmniej interesują dowody 😒

@mattvanswol I can’t get past the idea of doing this to my own child, seeing that child struggle, seeing their fear, seeing them go lifeless and then she does it 2 more times. Young, innocent, beautiful children. That’s pure evil to do that and I don’t understand defending it.

It's sheer hubris for anyone to think they wouldn't do *exactly* the same in psychosis. The psychosis that Clancy fought desperately against for months, by telling her providers her symptoms constantly, to the best of her awareness. As they wrote her 30 prescriptions in four months for 13 different meds, most of which they knew can cause psychosis. While only rarely consulting one another or her prescription history, instead relying on a person *in psychosis* and with anosognosia (loss of awareness) to *describe her own anosognosia.* Weeks before the killings, psychiatric nurse practitioner Julie Paul wrote that Lindsay had "flattened affect" and was “not in touch with reality." So why was she deemed fit to judge her own reality and objectively describe all her symptoms? Paul should have IMMEDIATELY recommended a Section 12 (G.L. c. 123, § 12) three-day emergency psychiatric hold, to examine her for psychosis. Clancy did ALL she could when she was in her right mind or had any insight. Which is ALL she can be judged for. She and her children were failed.

@mattvanswol Yeah, but it was the voices fault, not hers. She could have spent weeks murdering them - and still it was the fault of the voices, thats why planning and gruesome action is none of her fault.

We think she was insane. Same thing people thought about Susan Smith and Andrea Yates. Insane people by LAW cannot be guilty of crimes because they are unable to choose between right and wrong. Go yell at some judges or lawyers. Demonizing half the country isnt going to change anything about this trial or future trials like it.
