I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. It makes me still wonder to this day but I’m still glad I never opened the door.

🚨BREAKING: An ICE/Border Patrol agent approached a U.S. citizen’s car, opened the door without permission, took his keys, threatened to arrest him if he didn’t prove his citizenship, and STILL refused to return his keys after he showed his U.S. PASSPORT. And then, the agent admitted ON CAMERA that the entire detention was unlawful. And here is what makes this even more disturbing… At no point did the agent claim this man committed an actual crime, but still threatened to arrest him. He was just a person who pulled over near a federal immigration operation. And because of that, the agent walked up to his vehicle, opened his door, took his keys, and threatened to put him in jail unless he proved he was a U.S. citizen. Which is not how constitutional rights work. The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures. The U.S. citizen repeatedly asked… “Why am I being detained?” The agent first claimed he was “suspected of being illegal.” But, they didn’t have evidence to back that claim. And even after showing his U.S. PASSPORT, they refused to give him his keys back… When the U.S. citizen continued questioning why he was detained… the justification changed. Now, the agent claims he was supposedly “impeding an immigration investigation.” The man asked, “How did I impede?” The agent answered, “You pulled up right here.” That was the reason… He pulled over. The man asked, “Did I walk over there?” The agent said, “No.” “You walked to me.” The agent admitted to that. The man never left his car. He never blocked agents. He never interfered with an arrest. He pulled over… and the agent came to him. And note, the issue was never that agent told the U.S. citizen to leave… Then, after failing to justify an excuse for stealing this U.S. citizen’s keys, and threatening to arrest him if he didn’t prove his citizenship, the agent said he detained him because… “You are their boss and you hire illegal aliens.” So, the agent’s justification was not that this U.S. citizen committed a crime, it was that he was connected to people they were investigating. This is exactly why constitutional protections exist. Because if law enforcement can decide someone “looks suspicious,” demand proof of citizenship, seized their property, and threaten to arrest them until they comply with unlawful orders, those rights mean nothing. People have a right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures… regardless of their appearance, their ethnicity, or who they know. And this agent’s own words expose him: He didn’t stop this man. He didn’t pull him over. He didn’t catch him committing a crime. Two men allegedly kicked in his door. One of them brought a gun. The victim reportedly didn’t have one. Then the fight spilled out of the apartment… and one intruder got shot with his own gun. That is the part people need to sit with. The man inside had barricaded the door with a couch. A couch. That tells you he already knew trouble was coming. He already knew the lock might not be enough. But once two grown men kick through your door and end up beating you in your bedroom, the couch has done everything it can do. Now you are gambling with your life. And this man reportedly had to fight for a gun that did not even belong to him. So before anybody says, “See, he didn’t need to be armed,” no. He survived because he was desperate and the other guy was sloppy. That is not a plan. That is luck with blood on it. Be honest: If you knew trouble was coming, would you trust a couch to be your plan?

🚨#BREAKING: Tyjuan Crenshaw, a man who works with special needs children, saw a young man being BEATEN IN THE STREET. He stepped in and saved the man and chased the attacker off... ...AND THE POLICE ARRESTED HIM FOR IT He was charged with assault. Tyjuan is a MANDATORY REPORTER because he works with special needs kids. He is LEGALLY REQUIRED to step in when he sees a vulnerable person being abused. Crenshaw says he saw a man beating a vulnerable young man on Baylor's Lane in Petersburg, Virginia. In his words: "He was beating the hell out of him. After he dropped, he hit him across his head five more times." So Crenshaw stepped in. He says the man told him to mind his own business... then went and got a dog to sic on him. He stood his ground and protected the man until the police got there. When the police showed up, they arrested CRENSHAW. Charged him with assault and listed the man he was trying to stop as the VICTIM!!! But here's the kicker. TWO DAYS LATER, police arrested that same man, Harold Parker, and charged him with ABUSE AND NEGLECT OF AN INCAPACITATED ADULT. The exact thing Crenshaw said he was trying to stop! So the man who stepped in to protect the vulnerable is facing charges. When asked if he would do anything different, Crenshaw said: "If I had to do it all over, I'd do it again!"

My wife in 2012 took her own life… and one of [my kids] was worrying to me because he never processed his mom’s death in a way that I could observe. About five years ago… he went to Patagonia to kayak a white water river that I kayaked for many, many years… The night my son arrived there, the guy [he stayed with] said to him ‘I’m doing an ayahuasca trip tonight’… so my kid ended up doing this. After he drank the ayahuasca… he felt himself sinking through all the geological strata of the Earth, and he told me… he had a total understanding of all of the processes that had laid them out through the eons. He ended up being propelled out the other side of the Earth and then floating through space for what he experienced as hundreds of years. He would focus on a distant planet and be transported there, and on each planet he would have an adventure and at the end there would be a lesson that he was supposed to remember. The last planet he visited, his mother was there. And she started passing through him, in and out of him again and again and every time she did that, he felt all these experiences of forgiveness, of love, of understanding, of comprehension, of empathy and compassion. When he came back from that trip, he was completely changed. He was very open about talking about his feelings, [but] the reason I really know that it changed him is he started taking out the garbage and doing the dishes. I have a friend who’s a Navy SEAL who had severe PTSD and he went to Costa Rica and had the same kind of experience. I have a couple of other friends who are in the NFL and they also had severe brain injuries and depression, and the same thing happened. So, my mind is open to the idea that there may be things that I don’t know about and that people ought to have the freedom and liberty to experiment with these things.”
