Well, no, he wanted to kill the Party because he thought they were Satanists. Never bothered with getting the truth, just looked for confirmation bias. He was, in fact, unreasonable

To start, yes He later becomes very unhinged, especially at the Creel House

This is what I said, even as an Eddie fan. Also to mention, if I were a Hawkins student on the outside looking in I’d be a little concerned why a twnety year old guy ( he was held back twice) would only hang out with kids and be jumping on cafeteria tables.

I understand his trauma but he had no right to start a man hunt.

The guy was a fundie religious twat who engaged in and encouraged vigilantism, resulting in the hunting down of an innocent human. Nothing "reasonable" about any of that.

Witch-hunting based on no information is in fact not reasonable

the point of the character was to show how it’s easier to demonise something than try and understand it

yes AND no. yes bc his girlfriend was killed, 100%, along with people he knew and was friends with, and that is completely reasonable to be upset and angry about, and he was just a teen. but no, because he was quick to be discriminatory through his upset, and started a manhunt

Yes, but the way he went about it was the problem.

Maturing is realizing one shouldn’t assume everything and that he was not reasonable.

Maturing is realizing that the police told him who the “killer” was when those details shouldn’t have been public, so in that sense maybe he did think he was doing the right thing by trying to GET the killer but at the end of the day, he should have let the police handle it.

1000% tbh. he had no idea about the upside down and it makes sense that he would blame eddie considering he was the last person his gf was alone with. people often forget that characters don’t always have all the information that we, the viewer, have

I really wish they didn’t kill him off because I really wanted to see him live with the consequences of his actions. I wanted him to see that he forced Lucas to go through exactly what he went through and live with that

No, he let an emotional response completely overshadow any sort of logic, and started a lynch mob to kill a dnd group. That's not reasonable, that's unhinged.

No he fucking wasn't. I get why you'd think that at the start, but when his friend died infront of him with Eddie just being frozen, he still blamed him, so yeah, Fuck Jason.

From his perspective and vengeance fuelling his emotions, yes, he was reasonable Everyone of us hated him because none of us were in his position, in the unknown

I mean I get his thought process in the very beginning… but he became incredibly unhinged as the season continued.

Yep wasn’t a villain at all. Guy rightfully thought a dirtbag drug dealer killed his girlfriend.

Only the anime nerds with Harry Potter tattoos disagree. They use buzzwords to portray this dude as a religious extremist. The entire show is literally about the dark underworld and the DnD nerds are in direct contact with demonic entities…will is literally possessed lol
