Max Dowman, this is Arsenal’s best attacker at 16 years old. He commands a different kind of authority when he has the ball at his feet. He’s one of the few players you can always expect to create magic when he’s on the ball. A special talent.

🗣️ Gary O'Neil on Max Dowman: “I’ve definitely not had a 16-year-old as good as Max Dowman around my group. “I think Mikel has so many good players that you can manage Max Dowman however you want, really. You can give him as much time as he needs. You can drop him in when it fits. “If the game gets tough for him, you’ve got Ødegaard sat there, ready to come on and help if he needs to. So I think he’s in a great spot. “He’s got one of the best coaches around. Arsenal are one of my favourite teams to watch and to study for the work that Mikel’s done there. “I’m sure the future is bright for him because of the surroundings that he has. It’s a very humble team as well. There are no superstars in it. There’s no one that doesn’t get their work done. “So I would expect Max Dowman to be given the best opportunity to be as good as he can be at Arsenal Football Club.”

🚨🗣️ Frank Lampard:“Estêvão has the kind of talent that excites supporters. He’s fearless, creative and always looking to make something happen when he gets the ball. He has the potential to reach Hazard’s level” 💙

Myles Lewis-Skelly vs Fulham, Atletico, and West Ham. When MLS receives the ball, he only has one intention, progressing it vertically. He spots passing lanes in split seconds and threads passes through them. What makes him even more special is that when there are no passing lanes, he has the ability to carry the ball through compact blocks, disrupt them, and create new passing lanes himself. He combines progressive passing and ball carrying at an elite level. Zubimendi is the complete opposite of this. This is one of the rarest midfield profiles in football. He has singlehandedly improved Arsenal’s buildup and ball progression by some distance. A £100m midfield solution has casually been sitting on Arsenal’s bench all season. He’s a nailed-on starter in midfield now.

Ibrahim Diarra showing Barca fans a glimpse of what they can expect from him when he’s fully fit. A really well-rounded attacker even at this early stage of his career. Delicate with the ball at his feet, and his creativity, ball-striking ability, vision, and versatility make him such a valuable profile for this team. For all of this to work though, it starts with him staying healthy. If he can do that, I’m confident his talent will follow suit and he’ll shock a lot of people.

Nikola Jokic on Jaylen Brown: “He’s playing at a high level, scoring the ball, and he’s such a good defensive player too. The versatility to him is he can play both sides of the ball… he’s a really good player.”

🚨🗣Mo Salah response to the best striker he has ever played with: "It’s very tricky. I played with Drogba, I played with Costa, but the best striker, the most clinical striker I personally play with, I have to go with Darwin Nunez. If Darwin plays with me up top, I know whatever I put in the box, he is going to finish. He’s one of those players that when he is through on goal, you don’t have any doubt that he will put it in the back of the net. He’s kind of a different player. We never had that quality before. He loves to run in space, he doesn’t like the ball much in his feet, which is unique, because he’s really, really fast. So he keeps looking at me because he knows that I can give him the ball easily in a space that he can finish the situation. And I honestly believe this: Darwin will win the golden boot this season, if not the most improved player this season. When you actually watch Darwin play and the goals he scores, you realize what pure talent looks like.”

What Camp is doing better this year is he’s hitting the ball in the air pull side at the best rate of his career. Before this season he had a career Pull Air% of 18.4%. This year he’s at 23.0%.

6’9 Sophomore Wing Antonio Chol has been one of the best scorers in Juco this season. So far he’s averaging 21 PPG 9 RPG 2 APG 50% FG 41% 3FG Chol provides a ton of versatility at 6’9 that not a lot of players have, he’s a great athlete who can shoot the ball and is a high level finisher. He also has a really good handle for his height. He’s extremely underrated at the moment but I expect that to change soon.

You wanna know why Cooper Kupp is the best receiver in football when he’s healthy? Because he literally does it all. There is not one receiver who does as much as Cooper. Most are dominate at 1 or 2 things. Cooper Kupp literally does everything at a dominating level. This man has great hands, he can route run with the best of them, he can use his underrated speed, he has the best IQ for a receiver, the best work ethic, and on top of that he’s one of the best blocking receivers in football. There’s not any other receiver in football that can match Cooper Kupp when you combine all of that together. His krpytonite has been injuries, but when he’s healthy. There is just no one close to this man’s level at the receiver spot. #NFL #RamsHouse

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on what Dowman still needs to develop: “At this level, you need to be the best in every phase. “We know what he can do when he's in and around the ball, especially when he's got a bit of space around him. “Defensively, on set pieces, it's not only that. His leadership has to increase, his voice has to increase, his role has to increase within the team, in the dressing room. “There's a lot of things that you need to grow, but at 16, to already do what he does, it's just incredible.”

Great interview with Clemson HC Dabo Swinney from John Keim on what the #Commanders should expect from WR Antonio Williams: • “A complete player … a guy that’s going to impact the game with the ball, without the ball” • “He’s got elite ball skills. He plays bigger and longer than he is” • “I think he’s probably going to be a slot, but I think he can truly play the Z. I think he can play all three spots” • “Just one of the best kids you’ll meet…he’s not an up and down guy. He’s about his business…”
