He seems to be forgetting that Hamas broke the last two ceasefires.

If the ceasefire had been kept on 7/10, no one would have been murdered by Hamas terrorists. it's that simple.

If Hamas had released civilian hostages and surrender, the war would be over and Palestinians would be free from violent Hamas rule.

But he is forgetting that the ceasefire was not made permanent because Hamas breached it and because Hamas refuses to give up its hostages and because Hamas still holds to its policy of removing all Jews from Palestine (by which they mean Israel). Why is it that Western progressives don't grasp this?
