Osman Bukari’s form at Red Star Belgrade 🇷🇸 has been ridiculous & his overall numbers are impressive. He has contributed 30 goals in 46 matches since joining the club. Mostly played as a RM/RW just to emphasize. This season, he has 3 goals, 2 assists in 4 games. Even in the Black Stars where he is predominantly used as a sub, he’s got good numbers. 5 goal contributions in 12 games (3 goals, 2 assists). He is 24. 👏 👏

🔱 Dominic Canzone Long Post 🔱 When the Mariners acquired Canzone last month in exchange for Paul Sewald, most people had never really heard of him. He wasn’t a top prospect and he wasn’t lighting the world on fire. Here’s a quick recap on his numbers with Triple-A Reno this season: .354 AVG, .431 OBP, .634 SLG, 13.2 K% 12.8 BB%, .449 wOBA, 16 HR, 150 wRC+ Canzone never had a wRC+ lower than 107 at any stop in the minor leagues and for his entire minor league career, he had a .933 OPS with a wRC+ of 134. He can hit. Of course, minor league numbers ultimately mean next to nothing once you get to the major leagues. Arizona called him up in July and started playing nearly every day, mostly as a platoon bat. Here are his numbers as a Diamondback: .237 AVG, .293 OBP, .368 SLG, 19.5 K% 4.9 BB%, .290 wOBA, 1 HR, 80 wRC+ Not all that great, and that’s what most people saw when Seattle acquired him for their star reliever. Here were his expected stats: .283 AVG, .336 OBP, .476 SLG .353 xwOBA, 90.3 MPH Average Exit Velo That .353 xwOBA is better than Justin Turner, Josh Naylor, Francisco Lindor, Jake Burger, and many other players. When Canzone arrived to Seattle, he struggled in his first 20 plate appearances and his expected numbers weren’t much better either. His average exit velocity in this stretch was 85.2 MPH. His K% hit 20%, which Canzone had only had 2 lengthy stops in the minors where his K% was 20%. People were frustrated at the lack of production from Canzone (and Rojas). He’s hit everywhere he’s been and his underlying numbers have backed it up, outside of a short slump once he arrived to the Mariners. Many people didn’t give Canzone a chance when he first got here because of who we gave up to get him. People labeled him a “AAAA hitter” before seeing him. Nate Ament vs. Kentucky 29 points (10/17 FG | 4/6 3pt | 5/6 FT) 8 rebounds 3 assists 1 steal 4 turnovers 35 minutes Ament has raised his level since the start of SEC play. Tennessee has continued to feature him offensively (27.1 usage in conference), and his efficiency has increased since his slow start to the season. As he grows into his frame by adding core and lower body strength, it will be harder for defenses to knock him off his spot or stop him from getting to better spots on the floor, where he's a talented shot maker. He showed the ability to shoot over the top of smaller defenders. Ament struggles creating on ball without the help of a screen, but he showed several good P&R possessions, finding the roll man with passes or getting his shot off. He's a bit heavy-footed and will struggle staying in front of smaller, quicker players - his length does allow him to recover better than others. Two big swing factors that will ultimately determine Ament's ceiling - improved strength and quicker decision making on the ball.

Congrats to Ryan Ward for having his contract selected and being placed on the Dodgers' 40 Man Roster. Wardo was awarded as the Most Valuable Player in the PCL this past season after hitting .290, with an OPS of .937. He posted a WRC+ of 132, and his 36 home runs led ALL of the Minor Leagues During this season he also became the ALL-TIME home runs leader (90) and RBIs (318) in the history of the Bricktown Ballpark Era for OKC baseball. On a personal note, I've been going to AAA OKC games since 1975. That dates back to All-Sports stadium, and 6 different affiliation changes, 5 of which have been in my lifetime, and that I remember VERY well. So, to see this with my own eyes was truly historical on a personal level for me as well. #89ERS And, to have it happen in the first year of the new branding was a real "page turner" of OKC baseball, so that's SUPER cool too. Ward also drove in 122 runs, which is the most of ANY player in the PCL since 2010, and racked up the most total bases (315) of any player in the PCL since 2001. Ward also set single-season records for the Bricktown era in hits (164), runs (113), and RBIs (122). As per his defense... His outfield play has gotten better and better as each year has passed, and, while his bat will likely always be the"show stealer", he is a good athlete and has become a very solid outfielder. He can also play 1st base, and dabbled in a touch of 2nd base while at Bryant Baseball Speaking of Bryant, he's the only Bulldog ever to hit over .400 for a single season, and he struck out just 1 time his senior Season at Millbury, so the "hit tool" is NOT a new thing for him. As an aside, he graduated with fewer than 100 kids in his High School, and he is not shy to show pride in his "small town" work ethic. With all the home runs over the fence, his highlight of last year was an at-bat where he kept the ball IN the park. Wardo knocked an INSIDE-the-park WALKOFF home run back at the beginning of May. Congrats, Wardo, I could type ALL DAY about this dude, but that will do it for NOW. #dodgers

The eye specialist diagnosed him with inflammation of the macula caused by exposure to bright light. He now has to wear light-filtering glasses and full recovery could take around 3 to 6 months. When the reporters asked about Tul, Mew said that Tul took a shower at the time, so he searched on ChatGPT. But the answer made him feel worse, it was like “You are having problems with blindness” blah blah. Mew added that Tul actually wanted to take him to the hospital right away, but since it was already late and no eye specialists would be available, they decided to wait until morning. So far Every time I wake up in the middle of the night since I’ve been in Japan 🇯🇵 Something’s happened at Spurs. So De Zerbi finally signs a 5 year deal after the board offered him all the gold he could eat. I don’t care how much it cost we’ve waisted millions on players and poor management appointments. I’m ready for the fireworks and the controversy but all I’m interested in is the survival of this club in the EPL. Hopefully Sandro and Nesta are joining him because one has his heart firmly in this club the other a top class defender. There’s no time for De Zerbi ball you can’t teach that ln 7 games but they will respect him more unlike Tudor as this is a full time appointment. Nate Walker MUST be investigated. He was with Charlie the morning of 9/10, ordered the DoorDash, picked Charlie’s clothes for the day. He placed binders (not used on other campus tours).
