Heavy rains have flooded our tents, and the freezing cold is consuming the bodies of our children, women, and men. We are doing everything we can to dig water channels to stop the floods from entering our tents, but our efforts are not enough, and this winter is harsher than ever. 🎥 #MyTentInTheRain This morning, I woke up to find the rain inside my tent… everything was soaked, not a single dry spot left 🥺 We filmed a video so people can see how we’re living under the rain, with no cover to protect the tent and nothing to stop the water. We need a plastic cover for the tent and urgent maintenance so we don’t get flooded every time it rains. 💔It was the worst night yet, the shooting at our homes lasted the entire night, and bombs dropped continously nearby. I am not doing well, my friends. We are dying faster than at any other point in time. Everything is hard to come by, food, fuel, supplies, it is all becoming rarer every day. Food for animals is almost non-existent, cats are eating things that are not good for them, and dogs are stuck with whatever can be found for them. 🫂It is only with your generosity and support that we can even distribute food and water that keeps the poor people at the camp alive, and I hope you will continue to support us so that we can work for as long as necessary, my friends. Without your support, I fear what will happen to us all, and the situation that we will be left in. Please help if you can, we are so very desperate to survive this nightmare. I am so grateful for everything you have done for us so far, and I hope one day soon I will not need to beg you, and that we can live a normal life, free from this horror and terror that fills our lives with hell.. 🙏😢My friends, it brings me sadness to share the same updates from 🇵🇸💔#Gaza with you every day, but the situation only continues to get worse every day. The bombing is constant, it goes on day and night, and we are so very tired and hopeless. We are not just physically tired, it is like our souls are tired, and every day we spend every moment waiting and wondering if this day will be our last. It’s a feeling very hard to describe. The only respite we get from these suffocating emotions is when we are able to give the gift of helping others. We fired up the oven again, and today, we served a variation of breads to the hungry families we delivered them to. We made flatbreads, bread with oil and thyme, and also bread with red peppers. The joy of helping others is indescribable at this time, my friends. It is like a jolt of hope that lightens our hearts. The animals and the people living in tents are going through the worst, my dear friends, and I want to help them as much as I can. 🫂Chef Khaled made his delicious yellow rice for the camp today, my friends, and people were very happy when they received their meals because it's a favorite for many. I wanted to tell you we are working daily to distribute food and water for the camp, and we do this even when I do not mention it in my updates. These poor people rely on us to help them survive, and we wish we could do more for them in these cruel and miserable times. It is awful to see the horrific pictures of people living in tents who have nothing to save them from a bomb or a fire. My heart breaks for the animals too, my friends, because they are also helpless and they are suffering terribly in these conditions. I want to help them, my friends, and I can do this only with your generosity and help. If you could, will you please consider donating and sharing my message?
