Maximize your Tesla's range! Disable accessory power & wireless charging. Turn on Low Power Mode to save power when parked. Switch acceleration to 'Chill' for a gradual drive. Tesla navigation even shows your ending battery percentage! #TeslaTips #EVRange

I'm a bit skeptical that a phone charging on the pad would reduce range by any noticeable amount.

It’s not that the charging pads take all the range it’s that combined with sentry mode cabin overheat protection, and the features included under Low Power Mode can definitely add up to over 2% range per hour

I threw this at Grok: "Daily/Yearly Perspective One full phone charge per day: ~2–8 miles of "lost" range per year (depending on assumptions)"

I’d rather glue my balls to a lawnmower in Mississippi in August than put my performance Y in chill mode.

Dumb idea. The amount of energy/range saved is tiny. Not worth it

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing.

Low power mode is legit way to maintain SOC when parked for a period of time.

Fun fact, changing acceleration only will affect the drive if not using FSD! 😊

Does chill have an effect when using FSD?

You can manually change the aggressiveness from sloth mode to Mad Max mode in FSD. All of these changes will have some effect on the range as you can see on the energy tab driving habits make up the majority binge loss in addition to climate, wind, resistance, elevation, and more

Absolutely no need to maximize range - I just drive 1,600 miles - very comfortable timely stops . Perfect for me on normal or hurry. Chill would just be way too slow just to get a few extra miles of range.

El modo Chill no ahora batería per se
