Maximo: Ghosts to Glory (PlayStation 2, Capcom, 2001)

I had this game for a day or two before my parents took it away from me due to the scantily cladded ladies on the back cover art.

Never thought I'd see this game mentioned again. Had this and the sequel way back in the day. Pretty fun. Sadly forgotten so I doubt we'll ever see them again.

Love this game.

FYI: This “Maximo” guy it’s the son son of Ghost N’ Goblins protagonist “Sir Arthur”. This is a sequel on the same Universe.

Both the coffins rising up from the ground, and the music in the back, reminds me of Ghosts and Goblins.
