Maximus cannot get enough water into his system. We see this all the time with sick dogs. It’s a sign he is healing. His appetite is also fantastic (4/6)

Obviously things are not perfect yet. But the red raw skin has calmed down. He is still in agony but it’s now from flaking and healing (2/6)

He has his own play area to decompress in before we introduce him full time to some friends. This is how he greets me. It’s as if he’s saying… “Nice to see you kind sir I like it here” (3/6)

His old owners were “too scared to touch him”. Hence the chain they said. I’ve very rarely seen a more gentle or friendly dog. (5/6)

Drinking fresh clean water is always so refreshing as it’s going down. Max may also like how it cools the raw skin around his mouth. Glad he’s eating and drinking well these days.👏🏻🥰
