I remember staying up to watch this game. Gary Thorne made it all the more amazing. His other call on the ridiculous McCarty move in the finals also gives me chills.

I remember exactly where I was when this happened. Standing nex to my friend in his living room. He jumped and landed with one foot going through the top of his mothers glass coffee table. Didn’t temper the celebration even a little.
