CLOSED PRIMARIES: Senator Cornyn and Greg Abbott both oppose closing the Republican primary to ensure that the GOP is able to choose its own candidates. Meanwhile, this is Cornyn suggesting that the Democrats voting in our primary today will be supporting Hunt or Paxton - and not him. The fact is that 100% of the Democrats voting in today's Republican primary will be voting for him - that is a fact. He wants open borders, gun control, unlimited Islamic migration - and open primaries. Shame on you old man.

You can’t argue that President Trump is not trying to fix our election system, but he needs the Republicans to get on board. While speaking to Republican senators this morning, POTUS made his case for terminating the filibuster so that we can pass voter ID, no mail-in voting and “pass all the things that we want to pass to make our elections safe and secure.” He said that if we don’t terminate the filibuster, then they won’t be able to pass any legislation and the Democrats will take power - and then they will remove the filibuster anyways and basically we will be screwed forever. He has a point. We are at the point that we need to use any means necessary - to save the Republic. Without free and fair elections, our country is gone. As Trump says in this clip, “it’s time for Republicans to do what they have to do.”

Yesterday, we came together to honor Governor Pete Wilson. I told everyone there I wanted to share it with the world, because everyone needed to see how Democrats and Republicans can come together and respect each other. We don’t need to see each other as the enemy. Governor Wilson is a Republican, but Speaker Willie Brown, the Democratic leader he battled with in negotiations, was right there with him. Governor Davis, a Democrat, led the meeting. You all know we battled it out in an election and I’m a Republican, but you may not know we are great friends and still work together. We need to step back from this insane politics of hatred and division and learn that we will only get things done by working together. Why hasn’t Washington done anything on immigration or the debt in decades? I would say because they haven’t learned what we have learned in California - that we can disagree but still work together, still respect each other, and still put the people first. I hope this inspires you to lay down your partisan weapons and find a way to see the people who disagree with you with respect.

I went to the DMV about 3 weeks ago to get my mom her ID and also because she will be voting, I checked off that she is a Republican, but didn’t know that I will now need to go on line to register her to vote Republican, until I learned from this video that in California, if you want to vote Republican, you must go on line to register. 👂 to👇 guy all the way til the end, he is on 🎯‼️

In Toowoomba tonight for our first branch meeting in Groom and the eastern end of Maranoa. The idea of branches is get people from a certain area with similar values together to engage with each other. From that engagement we need to coordinate our activities to deliver our solutions to the community. If we could get the 200,000 plus people that marched last weekend to deliver 50 flyers with our policies we can get our message out to 10 million homes reducing our need on the mainstream media. Our members will also get to preselect our candidates. Preselection is incredibly important as it is the most direct way to hold politicians to account. One of the reasons why politicians no longer listen to the people is that they are selected by the party not elected. That is a key point of difference with People First - we will give members a say about candidates and policy. Today I shared my lunch with two beautiful partners, the food was nit much but we felt happy, may be because it was tasted with love 😍😻, I tried to catch them but sadly I failed, I will revisit tommorow and try to bring more food. Dears kind hearted friends, I think that street animals must be included on our efforts, we understand that food is rare here and very high priced, but as well as we share food with AFS cats, we think that we have to share some with the street animals too, we hope we succeed to obtain that but it relys to your support.
