The last game Jake O'Donnell ever refereed.

Yep. The NBA suspended him for the rest of the playoffs, ending his string of 23 consecutive NBA Finals appearances. He retired before the next NBA season.

It’s not how you start it’s how you finish.4-3 Rockets..

Plenty of drama yet to unfold in this one…as you are fully aware 🤣

Then this happened:

Yep. I'll get there in a week and a half.

still trying to find the foul 20 years later

My guess is that at the exact moment that Elie passed between O'Donnell and Drexler, Majerle stumbled and slowed as he was running. It appears that the call was for Clyde "grabbing" Majerle to prevent a breakaway—pure assumption with the vantage point blocked for a brief second.

I remember this. I think the league ended up giving Clyde his fine back too!

Everyone here is wrong Jake had a vendetta against Clyde and that game was the last game he ever officiated. It was a bullshit foul call and 2 tecs. Look up O'Donnell and Drexler, Clyde was right to br pissed
