Maya is simply exquisite!! 🩰

I can't recall the last time I watched a video nearly 4 minutes long on X Just amazing talent in front of, and behind, the camera!

It's amazing how between shots she stands like a marine or a firefighter but in the poses she's the Goddess of Femininity.

Her lines are breathtaking... she hits the positions with such casual ease. Remarkable.

The first time I asked my daughter, who had zero dance training to do this jump for a photo while we were walking around town, made me immediately put her into dance. She inherited my hypermobility genes

What is a Woman? This is a Woman. Strong, Graceful, Beautiful, Humble

What is staggering about this, is someone with such amazing agility, poise and beauty, appears to be physically so normal physically. It's like she flicks a switch and effortlessly transforms. Stunning.

So beautiful. This one’s my favorite:

Check the bruises. Steve Jobs: "It takes a lot of hard work to make something look simple". And in this case - beautiful.

Magnificent. Limber & pliable. Humble. No hair or makeup needed. Just the beauty of a young lady in ballet pose. What a pleasant viewing

Stunning.

Most beautiful and stunning thing I have seen all day. Maya and the photographer captured the moment in ways only ones love of ballet and photography could comprehend. Well done.

I pulled a muscle just watching this.

Amazing. I can’t help but think about all the hours of training and sacrifices it took for her to develop those skills 👏👏👏

Wow - the skill of a ballerina is simply amazing 💯

Thasts actually insanely impressive.

2 minutes in and she’s still a one take wonder. Impressive 😎🤌🏾

Incredible art from both the dancer and the photographer! 😍

I did not expect that one. Amazing how « ordinary » people suddenly transform when performing their art. There is magic in that

Maya is exquisite indeed, but whom I admire here is the photographer - respect to his artistry and mastery to communicate Maya's talent and emotions. 🩰 + 📷 = 🪄

Per Grok, she is Maya Schonbrun, a 22-year=old American principal dancer with the Royal Swedish Ballet.

She is great, and props to the photographer as well.

Making anything to do with stupid ballet look that cool is a testament to how good that photographer is.

My daughter is a dancer and photographer, I'll need to show this to her. This is amazing

holy shit.. I've never been in awe of dancing before it's like she was made for ballet

She's standing there during instructions, all shy and kinda akward... then she moves, and it's... magical!

For all their faults, humans can be pretty bloody marvellous. Wonderful dancer; wonderful photographer.

Looks amazing 🤩

She IS exquisite 👏.. It’s no mean feat to perform in pointe shoes.. and to be in a stationary position, dropping poses ad lib, on request, that’s really tricky… She’s beautiful 🩰💖

Never, in a thousand years, I would have guessed those dark pics were shot with so much light! Great work from everyone involved!!!!

damn, she made that look way too easy lol

Stunning 🤩

@MarksLarks Such an athlete - imagine being able to control your body to this extent 🙌🏼

This also shows how important lighting is.

Wow! The photography transforms the dancer's movements into something that almost looks like a masterful oil painting! Beautiful work by all here, with the exception of that horrid AI 'voice'.

Someone please explain!!! How do they get that lift without any forward propulsion??? I understand figure skating jumps. This seems antithetical to physics.
