Happened to me I used to had people I thought were my brothers for life but then they never was there when I was at my lowest. Miss them still to this day because I had no family but them they were all I knew and grew up with. Now it's just me and surviving a pointless existence.

Friends do move on sometimes, but that just makes space for new people who are in the exact same position as you who would be really happy to be your friend!

I feel it everyday

It's a sad but beautiful thing, sure your friends might move on but each would hold a memory of you, something that they talk to others about and maybe even come back to talk more. Live like your friends are priceless and the ones worth the time will treat you the same
