Imagine spending minutes on shots like "vash chases a single bullet" instead of actual character building dialogue like the original. The pacing was all over the place and more about showing off animation than telling a story.

@Sin_Salt The og trigun is one of the series that got me into anime. I am disappointed in The redesign the reboot went with and the fact it doesn't keep the spaghetti western style for the super sci-fi one it has now but I won't lie this makes me want to watch it too.

Yeah I won't. They could've adapted the whole manga, something the old anime didn't do. Instead they're radically changing everything. Gone is the artstyle, gone is Vash's purposefully almost villainous character design, GONE IS MILLY FOR SOME REASON. It's fanfic at this point.

People really do be hating on this for no reason lol. I haven't watched the original but holy shit this makes me want to watch it. This has to be some of the cleanest cgi animated anime i've seen. Up there with Lupin III

Not sure why they modeled a .22 caliber bullet And put it into a larger scale revolver that clearly takes at least .44 magnum or longer rounds Also the 3-D animation does not mesh well with the backgrounds at all

honestly, I think ppl are just disappointed cuz it's not a perfect copy of the original. I personally think it's great that they revamped it, cuz I can still feel the trigun feels with the wonder of watching a new series. it's like experiencing trigun for the first time again

Deeply disliked the plot changes, and miss my Milly.. but Vash was Vash and the animation was phenomenal... I just hate that they revealed every mystery in the first episode

This gives me the same vibe as the 2nd transformers where the camera spun everywhere and had so much slow mo and it was way too much
