I don't know. California has millions of solar power plants totaling 50 GW capacity - 25 nuclear power plants worth of energy capacity - but I don't see a single orange dot. And wind is no where to be seen. 🧐

There's clearly a bug on the purple dots ('Waste') being misidentified ('Wind'). And it's also unclear if these are nameplate capacities or average wattage...

This is good I'm saving this

given the data it's not that hard to do with WebGL and a bit of javascript. Biased due to scaling, but still I realized that Africa must be running on some secret energy source.
