When asked why on Earth they wouldn't have told anyone they basically just say "Well you didn't ask." Unbelievable.

When it is the right thing to do, I will say so. On this occasion, I agree with the Home Secretary. The Chief Constable of West Midlands Police should resign and if he does not, the Police and Crime Commissioner for the West Midlands should now dismiss him. The decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters was politically motivated. It was not about public safety. It was about appeasement, and that is unacceptable.
