There is no way you’re in Brooklyn that is PS 48 you live in my neighborhood that’s so awesome. My father worked sanitation 27 years and when he retired about 15 years ago, he told me the sanitation’s gonna go to shit and that’s exactly what happened when he retired.

True story. Sad, really. I’m glad I lived in NYC when Rudy was in charge. @RudyGiuliani was the best!

I lived in Manhattan during a sanitation strike. The skyline was replaced with a mountain range of smelly garbage. It grew bigger every day. But I still LOVE New York. Like loving a cat that scratches you. I can't help it. Like, for instance, I could listen to you talk all day.

At least you can walk around. Here in Honolulu, aside from Waikiki, the streets in shopping areas are lined with tents & homeless encampments. I ride the bus & one area that I go to, I have to get off 1 stop past the shopping center because you can't get past the homeless.

I'm glad you love it. I'm in Texas. If I want ground beef I go to a farm down the street, eggs from my coworkers. Fruits & veggies at the farmers market. I do go to the store for my dog food & Mt. Dew zero. You should come visit & try our fresh foods
