Mayor Johnson took a more theological approach, saying jailing criminals is “racist, unholy and doesn’t lower violent crime rates.” That was on August 25, a week before all the mayhem in Chicago. We’re now halfway through September, and Mayor Johnson continues to object to putting criminals in prison… In Washington, DC, President Trump’s push to stop crime has, in fact, reduced crime. It’s working well for me.” I believe this is the first time a Chicago mayor has acknowledged this freakish governance structure in public. Chicago’s mayor is also the only big city mayor in the country who directly fills City Council vacancies. Chicago City Council should elect its own president to preside over the legislative branch. And get the mayor out of council appointments. These governance rules typically live in a city charter. But Chicago is the only major city in the country without a charter. So these rules live in state law.

It makes it very hard to attract companies from outside the city to come in and harder for companies already here to stay.” Pritzker also said Johnson needs to work harder to find efficiencies in the city budget, rather than threatening the economic growth of the city and state with a new tax on jobs. “Balancing the budget for the state of Illinois and for the city of Chicago is vital. It can’t be ignored, it has to be done, but it shouldn’t be done with a head tax in the city of Chicago… “I am confident the city can do it. Look, you’ve got to start with efficiencies. You’ve got to go into city government—and I haven’t seen any of that in this budget so far. That’s going to have to happen because there are going to be changes. People are not going to like certain kinds of revenue enhancements that he’s got in his budget. So you’ve got to find efficiencies, and there are efficiencies to be found—some with technology, some because we have departments doing things that maybe we don’t need done. And finally, how about we do our best to attract, retain, and grow businesses in the city of Chicago, because that, again, is the best way for us to pay the bills.” Under Johnson’s proposal all companies employing 100+ people in Chicago would have to pay a tax of $21 per employee per month. But it is a temporary fix. The President, using the bully pulpit to put a spotlight on crime in Chicago, I think makes sense. We're discussing it. The mayor of D.C. just signed an act today allowing local police to work indefinitely with federal law enforcement, because what they have seen is a decrease to a number of zero in terms of murders in the city of D.C. Why would that not be a good thing? In Labor Day just passed, for example, 58 people were shot in Chicago, eight of those people killed. The youngest, who is now in critical critical condition, is a teenager. So, Erin, to me, you may not necessarily like what the President is doing, but how in the world could any sane person not agree that trying to make safer communities for people who live in some of those higher, concentrated areas of crime, is not something that should be a bipartisan effort?"

The problem with a lot of naive and gormless Irish people is that they think it is impossible for Irish state institutions to be corrupt. That corruption only happens in poor and underdeveloped countries. They believe that once RTE peddles the story it is regarded as 💯 correct and no more questions need asking. I especially don’t think people understand how the tentacles of freemasonry and the occult has infiltrated every aspect of power in Irish society. It is a closed shop for anyone who is decent and moral. Anyone who has followed this case will know that the whole thing from beginning to end was an absolute farce and a disgrace, and gives the two fingers to the meaning of justice. I only thank God that Aaron Brady is alive and well regardless of the hell him and his family are going through. There are many who have have been murdered by the state or had their mysterious deaths covered up by the state and families like Terence Wheelocks family or Rebecca Browne’s family will never get answers.
