I'm extending the property tax deadline for residents impacted by the Los Angeles firestorms to help relieve financial or administrative hardship. California is here for the survivors who have been impacted by these fires and we'll do all we can to offer the support they need.

I’m in Carter County with Senator Bill Hagerty, Gov. Bill Lee, and local officials and residents who have been impacted by Helene. The devastation here is unimaginable. We are doing all we can to get Tennesseans the resources they need to recover.

There is nothing “progressive” about leaving people to freeze in makeshift encampments. It harms residents and dehumanizes the very people who need help. New Yorkers should call on Mayor-Elect Zohran Kwame Mamdani to reconsider this policy.

The fires in the Texas Panhandle are raging ferociously. My team in the state is continuously monitoring the ongoing situation closely. We need those who are impacted to listen to your local officials’ warnings and be prepared to move out of harms way. Heidi and I are continuing to pray for those who have been impacted by these fires, and the first responders who are working bravely to contain the blaze.

Cyclists are pushed into high-speed, dangerous traffic on Bedford Avenue thanks to former Mayor Adams's decision to rip out three blocks of a protected bike lane. In its current form, there is effectively no bike lane on this stretch. Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani — cyclists need your help.

Q: You have been in office as the mayor of New York City for about 100 days. What has that been like? Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani: It's honestly been incredible. We've been trying to match the speed and the hustle of the city. There's a lot that I can look back on and say we're hitting the stride and we just need to keep doing more of it

It's great to see you all are inspired by our (İstanbul)'s mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu who has been in jail for more than a year. That would be classy if you had said at least a few words for your counterpart. Zohran Kwame Mamdani

Too many Americans have been impacted by gun violence. As I told Kya: It does not have to be this way. We know the solutions. We need universal background checks, red flag and safe storage laws, and an assault weapons ban.

This afternoon, we made an oversight visit to the Watloo Substation - where a fire broke out this morning. Our teams are hard at work to restore power to areas that were impacted by a trip at Njala. A few areas have been energised. With testing underway, we expect more areas will be restored. We apologise to residents for the inconvenience caused. City of Tshwane
