They used to run these on ESPN in the 80s and it was spectacular.

I watched this everyday when I got home as a kid

I used to watch this on @ESPNClassicSA all the time when I was younger.

Reruns used to come on around 3pm or so. Before Roy Firestone show.

Neither was large in stature, but the forearms were massive. Two of the greatest ever. I used to love watching reruns of the show.

Wow, I remember watching re-runs of these late at night in the late 70s and early 80s in Detroit.

Growing up in NYC in the '50s there was the eternal debate about who was better - Mantle, Mays, or Snider. Then the latter two moved out west, but the debate raged on.

he host, Mark Scott, passed of a heart attack at age 45. Rather than replace him, the show was canceled. I always thought the cameras were fantastic for that era of television.

The ballpark was Wrigley Field-in Los Angeles. It was the home of the minor league Angels of the Pacific Coast League. The MLB Angels played their first season there, in ‘61. They then shared Dodger Stadium, before moving to Anaheim in ‘66..
