Australia Day did not disappear; it was taken from us. For many of us, Australia Day is about celebration. Yet there are those who believe there should be no date, no nation, and no Australia. For a long time, these people have been winning. The location of the first Melbourne March for Australia on August 31 was home to so-called “Invasion Day” protests just months prior. At those protests, they gloated about having “abolished” our celebrations — a scene repeated across the country. These anti-Australian radicals thought it was over. They were satisfied that all that remained of our national day was guilt and mockery. Emboldened, they became more extreme, began burning our flag, and pushed to open our borders even further. In every call from home, in every message asking, "How are you?", in every moment of looking up at the starry sky and knowing that your loved ones are gazing at it with the same hope. We remain at war today so that tomorrow we can celebrate with those we love and protect — with our families and those who are waiting for us and for a miracle. We apparently have 1,000 Muslims on the streets in Germany loudly calling for Sharia. After Sharia! Not after respect, not after integration – no, they want to replace our legal system with a medieval religious law. Now such people come to us – as asylum seekers, as supposedly peaceful people seeking protection – and they turn the tables. They don't want to be part of our country. They want to make our country theirs. A country like in the Third World. With oppression, with fear, with arbitrariness. Who allows this? Please tell me: Is this the opinion of German citizens? No. But is anyone even asking for our opinion? We no longer feel safe. Not in our cities, not in our parks, not even in our own neighborhoods. This is no longer our homeland. It is becoming increasingly foreign. Anyone who does not respect our culture – out. Anyone who does not respect our laws – out. THIS IS A CALL TO EVERY MAN & WOMAN IN IRELAND...IT'S TIME Will you answer Ireland's call at this pivotal turning point in our history? After Gardaí (and PSNI) ambushed the men who feed us? The men who deliver the goods we need? Men who we will have no food without? Men who work hard and are robbed blind? Like the rest of us are robbed? Not Pierre Poilievre bringing me to tears with today’s announcement 🙏 Everyone I know who has lost someone to suicide or overdose is voting conservative. We are also frequently told we’re idiot, who simply don’t understand. Our “privilege” is showing. We’re brainwashed. You know what I think we are though? We are people who pray every day that absolutely no one else has to feel the way we do and will for the rest of our lives. We pray that even those people who call us names, demoralize us and try to shut us up, never have to feel the way we do. We have seen the statistics. The Kremlin is pouring hundreds of millions of euros into buying hundreds of thousands of votes on both banks of the Dniester and abroad. People are being poisoned every day with lies. Hundreds of people are being paid to provoke unrest, violence and the spread of fear. I address every citizen: we must not allow our country to be handed over to foreign interests. If Russia establishes control over Moldova, this will have immediate and dangerous consequences for our country and the entire region. Every Moldovan will be harmed, regardless of whom they voted for. Europe will stop at our border. European funds will stop at the Prut River. Freedom of movement may disappear. Our land may become a staging ground for infiltration into Odesa Oblast. There will be destabilization in the Transnistrian region. These are their goals and they speak openly about this. Russia is not acting alone. The Kremlin has accomplices in Moldova, people who, from time to time, show they are ready to sell their country for money. They have no homeland; they have only masters. They do not believe in Russia. They do not believe in Europe. They believe only in money. They want a weak Moldova, with a corrupt justice system that will shield them from responsibility for corruption and treason. We lived through the time when those who are now buying votes were in power. Let us remember how much damage they did to our Moldova and how we fought to remove them from power. After so many sacrifices, after so much hardship endured by so many generations, we do not have the right to hand the country again to the corrupt and the traitors. The Kremlin thinks that we can all be bought; that we are too few and cannot resist; that we are not a country but just territory. But Moldova is our home. Our home is not for sale. It stands on the dignity of our people, you are the bulwark of peace and the protectors of our children’s future.
