Don’t do company apps, or “loyalty programs”. Stopped 5-6 years ago when I noticed that they had become VERY intrusive. And haven’t bought anything from McDonalds in 3-4 years. In fact I don’t eat fast food at all anymore. I eliminated all seed oils and I’m healthier than I have been in 30+ years. ✝️👽

Bigger question from me would be why are you eating this utter garbage enough to even need an app? This is basically every loyalty, "free" service, chat, social media, app. The entire ecosystem is built on psych. profiling.

Cool. now we have more firepower against construction of data centers. The data centers, which total roughly 13,800 in the US alone, are more than enough. I take comfort in knowing I won't be tracked, at least not by them. Now, what to do with Flock...hmmm

This info about META will BLOW YOUR MIND American “I worked in IT for like 13 years” “I learned a lot about data privacy — and social media and what apps are notoriously bad when it comes to data privacy. At the very top of the list, the worst offender, the worst app for data privacy is Facebook Messenger” “Let me just explain this to you. If you have Messenger on your phone and you don't have any other apps by Meta, you don't have Facebook, Instagram, threads, nothing. If the only thing from Meta you have on your phone is Messenger and you connect to a WiFi, Messenger makes a map of that Wi-Fi network. - It collects information about every single device that is connected to that network - So every phone, every computer, every tablet, every printer, every camera, every thermostat, every smart TV, every Roku device, and on every single one of those devices - They're collecting the name of the device, the IP address of the device, what type of device it is, whether or not your device has access to that device And this doesn't just happen on your home network, it happens on every Wi-Fi network you connect to. —- And it's a lot more information than just, oh, there's 200 devices connected to this network. No, it's detailed information about every single device. Like, here's a mobile device connected - it's an iPhone - It's titled Jeremy's iPhone - It's running iOS version blank blank - Its IP address is blank blank blank blank - Its MAC address or its hardware ID is blank blank blank But they also collect a crap ton of information from your actual phone. Like - The names, phone numbers, email addresses, and social links of literally everyone in your contacts. - Your location history - Your browsing history. - A detailed list of every single app that you've ever installed - YOUR PASSWORDS - YOUR FINGERPRINTS - YOUR FACE ID Spoiler alert, it's not. Downloading Messenger means that you consent to their terms of service. You give consent just by downloading the Messenger app. Using the service and downloading the app gives consent. Consent for your phone to be used as a data collection device. To collect data about every place you go and every person you're in contact with. — Messenger is easily the worst one”

founders: you need these 3 optimized pages (btw Claude Sonnet 5.5 is crazy fast, i used it for this study) an about us page, a statistics page linked from it, and your money pages in the footer these contributed to 94k mentions in AI overviews and are the first fixes i'd make on any site. here's how (3 parts): 1. the about us page open with one line: "[COMPANY] is a [CATEGORY] that [DOES XYZ] for [ICP]." then 4 H2s:\ "what [COMPANY] does": 2-3 sentences on the service and the outcome "what makes [COMPANY] different": 5 differentiators with numbers. name competitors "who uses [COMPANY]": bullets with your exact customer types "the team behind [COMPANY]": founder names, backstory, links to their socials end it with a link to your stats page 2. the statistics page title it "[INDUSTRY] statistics [YEAR]" put two kinds of stats on it:\ industry stats, each with its source and date your own numbers nobody else has (product data, customer results, a quick survey) one stat per line, easy to quote the unique numbers are why it works. AI assistants and writers need a source to cite, and if a number only exists on your site, the citation points to you update it every quarter 3. money pages in the footer put your 4-6 most important pages in the footer: pricing, your core service, your main use cases the footer is on every page, so every page you publish sends internal links to the pages that make you money why this matters: Google's E-E-A-T and AI search both ask the same question: who is behind this site and why should anyone trust it? the about us page says who you are. the stats page proves you know your industry. the footer tells crawlers which pages matter most together they build topical authority, so you rank and get cited for your core topic

This guy took a brand‑new app to #1 overall in the App Store and 1,000,000 downloads in under 3 days. For the FIRST TIME, he breaks down exactly how he did it, and we’re posting the full, RAW conversation right here on X To be clear, this is his first and only podcast on this playbook... And a little more context: this wasn’t luck. Jibran has taken 4 different apps to #1 in the App Store, including one that did $1.5M in 3 days and outranked ChatGPT He did it with a handful of creators, zero paid ads, and a product philosophy that blew my mind Here’s the core of what he taught me: > Your product and your marketing are not two separate things; they're the same thing. > What goes viral on TikTok is product validation. > What you learn from a hit video should change your UI, your App Store screenshots, your icon He ran that loop obsessively.. For his 2025 Wrapped app, he spent hundreds of hours in Figma asking one question: > “How does this look on TikTok?” Then he tracked: 1. What users screenshotted 2. What they shared to Snapchat 3. What slide they dropped off on The result was a #1 overall app in the App Store. Above EVERYTHING. Now he’s building because he realized he was spending hours every day doom‑scrolling TikTok looking for hooks and formats that worked So he built an AI to do it for him: > You tell it your app. > It tells you what to post, what’s trending in your niche, and what’s wrong with your existing videos. We go deep on all of it in this conversation. If you run a consumer app, this is the most useful 49 minutes you’ll spend this week

In February 2025 at the World Government Summit, Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison stood next to Tony Blair and openly called for every citizen’s medical records, genomic data, prescriptions, and hospital history to be sucked into one giant national database. His exact words: “We have to take all of this data we have in our country and move it into a single, unified data platform… so the AI model has everything it needs to understand our country” and can answer “whatever question you like.” This isn’t abstract tech talk. Ellison has already funneled at least £257 million into Blair’s institute, the same organization that lobbies governments non-stop for compulsory digital ID and the merging of health, tax, education, and biometric data into “whole-person” profiles. Oracle, meanwhile, already runs the cloud systems for the CIA, MI5, and huge chunks of global healthcare. They keep dressing it up as “improving population health” and “early disease detection,” but strip away the PR and what they’re demanding is unprecedented: a permanent, centralized dossier on the biological and medical life of every single person, owned and operated by unaccountable billionaires and ex-politicians, with AI given unlimited permission to “ask questions.” Once every intimate detail of your body and medical history sits in one place, who decides which questions are allowed? Your GP? The Home Office? A future regime you never voted for? A corporation that buys the contract next year? History shows that when power concentrates data like this, citizens never get it back. Peaceful societies don’t need to vacuum up their population’s DNA and lifelong health secrets into a single oracle (pun intended) just to “run things better.” Larry Ellison and Tony Blair just told us, on stage and on camera, exactly what they plan to build. The question is whether we’re still allowed to say no.

American bought a Vizio Smart TV from Walmart. He took it home only to find you cannot use the TV without a Walmart account logged in You cent even turn it on and get past the first screen This is because Walmart bought Vizio and by having you sign in with your account they can like the data collected to you This TV collects everything and links it to your account - Contact details - Payment information - Subscription information - Account authentication and security information The optional data that most people just click next through is the really invasive data capturing, it includes - Viewing Data - Activity Data - Mobile App Data - Mobile Streaming Data It also uses built-in technology to analyze what’s playing on the TV in real time, including: - Audio and video programming, ads and gaming content - Content from connected devices like HDMI - Third-party apps like streaming services for movies, shows, episodes, channels, launch events - Device state details: volume, channel, picture controls, inputs, power on/off But it doesn’t stop there, it also collects - Basic identifiers: Name, email, phone, address, account credentials - Device/online identifiers: Device IDs, advertising IDs, IP/MAC addresses, model/serial numbers, firmware, Wi-Fi access points, cookies - Activity Data: Settings, inputs, clicks, impressions, operational/performance data, some content interaction details - Commercial/financial info: Purchases, subscriptions, warranties, payment cards - Internet/network activity: How you use the apps, sites, ads, and services - Mobile app and streaming data if you use the Vizio app You agree to have all this data collected from you just because you bought a TV…..

The Digital ID Will Change the Lives of Every Australian - For the Worse ... As much as the Government attempts to downplay the importance of introducing a single central digital identifier for all Australians, the truth is that this legislation is the most significant I've encountered during my time in the Senate. It's the glue that holds together the digital control agenda by which every Australian will be controlled, corralled, exploited and then gagged when they speak or act in opposition. The government knows Digital ID will be compulsory by the device of preventing access to government services, banking services, air travel and major purchases for any Australian who does not have a Digital ID. The Digital ID will, in effect, create a live data file of your movements, purchases, accounts and associates containing reference to every piece of data being held in the private and government sector as a first step in a wider agenda. Tech giants have been building huge data files on every Australian for years. Those huge data files that contain every website you visited, every post you made on their social media, everything you have ever bought online. Keywords scanned from conversations overheard by Siri and Alexa in your home are now unmasked. Until now, that data was anonymised using a unique identifier rather than name and address, which has always been there as well. However, tech companies were not allowed to use it or share data with others that included the person's name and address. Until Now. Look for the tech giants to ask for your Digital ID as a requirement of using their service. The point of that exercise is to ensure they put the right name on the right data treasure trove. This is why the Liberal Party have moved amendments to the Digital ID Bill to bring private corporations into this roll out earlier. All those treasure troves of data worth billions, trillions, that have been accumulated for years illegally, by retailers, tech and data companies - all that unrealised profit just sitting there has been too much of a temptation for the Liberal Nationals to resist and is now joined with Labor in pushing Digital ID. There will be no escape from the digital ID. Australians now have a digital version of "papers please" and Australians will never be the same.

Oracle just told every AI company on earth the same thing. Your models are worthless. Not the technology, talent or the billions spent training them. But the data they were trained on. Larry Ellison, the man who built Oracle into the backbone of global enterprise just dropped a bombshell. He said ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and Llama, all of them are training on the exact same data. The entire public internet, every Wikipedia page, Reddit thread and every news article. That means they're all converging essentially becoming the same product with different logos. Ellison's word for it is commodities. But here's where it gets dangerous. He says the real gold isn't public data, It's private data. The medical records in hospital systems, the financial data in bank vaults. The supply chain secrets of every Fortune 500 and guess where most of that data already lives. Not Google, Amazon or Microsoft but inside Oracle. Oracle databases hold most of the world's high value private enterprise data. So Oracle just launched something called AI Database 26ai. It lets the top AI models, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Llama reason directly over a company's private data, without that data ever leaving the vault. They're using a technique called RAG, Retrieval Augmented Generation. The AI doesn't train on your data, it searches it in real time. Think about what that means. A bank could ask AI to analyze every loan it's ever made without exposing a single customer record. A hospital could have AI diagnose patients using its full medical history without violating HIPAA. A defense contractor could let AI reason across classified operations without data leaving a secure environment. Ellison is betting this is bigger than the training market. Bigger than the GPU boom. Bigger than the data center buildout. He called it the largest and fastest growing market in history. The numbers back the ambition. Oracle's remaining performance obligations just hit $523 billion. That's contracted revenue not yet delivered and $300 billion of it comes from OpenAI alone. Cloud revenue hit $8 billion in a single quarter, OCI grew 66 percent and GPU revenue surged 177 percent. But here's the part nobody's talking about. If private data becomes the real AI moat, then whoever controls the database controls the future of AI. And that's a level of power that should make everyone uncomfortable.
