(July 2019) Madison, Wisconsin - McDonald's manager has meltdown after taking a customer's order then telling them the drive-thru is closed as they approach the window. The manager caught on camera descending into an expletive-laden meltdown after a disagreement with two customers turned nasty at a drive-thru. At a branch of the fast-food franchise in Madison, the currently unnamed supervisor is said to have taken the order of two customers over the intercom, but as they approached the window to get their food the couple were told the restaurant had now closed. An argument then erupted, with the woman behind the camera capturing the moment the manager leaned out from the window towards her car and shouted ‘I’ve been here for almost 17 hours, I don’t give a f***’. The couple are then told to ‘Get the f*** out of my drive-thru’, as the worker angrily gestures them away. Tempers escalate on the other side of the camera too, with a man getting out from the driver’s seat of the car to fight the incensed worker. In response, the manager rips the head-set he is wearing from his head and throws it across the room, roaring out from the widow ‘what did you say, mother*****?’ through strained facial expressions. He continues to taunt the man as he approaches the window, telling him: ‘Get the f*** out you bald headed ass. Get the f*** over here, I’ll beat your ass.’ The manager is forced to parry several punches from behind the drive-thru window, as the subject of his jibes tried to strike him through the hatch opening. Staring directly down the lens he tells the documenter, ‘you know what? Suck my d***’ before slamming the kiosk window shut. Reviews of the branch online document customers having had similar issues with store opening and closing times, with many commenters calling them ‘inconsistent’.
