The line "What is it that you want?" hit me right in the feels. The man is basically asking what his little bean wants and no matter what it is, as long as it can make her smile, he'll make it possible for her. Hugh seemed like such a carefree guy who laughed at his buddy for being a dad with responsibilities, and yet this little girl completely hardwired his brain into father mode without him even realizing it. Hugh finally understands why his friend wanted to rush back to his family after work and why it was the best thing ever for him. He finally got to feel that himself. CULTURE MATTERS! Clips of thousands of Norwegians after the football match, 'rowing' while a drum beats. Like on a Viking ship. I've seen clips like these over the past few days and they've moved me. I've cried over them. Real tears. Not because Norway beat Brazil. But because what I see in those clips is everything we've forgotten in Europe. Where we come from. Our culture. Holding on to who we are and standing up for it. It moves me because we've forgotten our tribe. Standing together. And that has meant we've allowed other 'tribes' - who share neither our view of life nor our values, and who don't appreciate our culture - to take up space, even though they aren't compatible with Europe and the Western world. I cry and I grieve, because it becomes so clear that we need to come home. Thank you to the Norwegians for making this visible by doing something as simple as gathering around what is theirs. Without apology. Tens of thousands of people rowing in rhythm to a single drum - as the Vikings they are. As the Vikings we all are, we who come from the North. Demi Moore on how she pressured herself to be in shape for "Indecent Proposal" (1993) after the birth of her child: "I put so much pressure on myself, And I did have experiences of being told to lose weight and all of those. While they may have been embarrassing and humiliating, it’s what I did to myself because of that. I think [Scout] was, like, five or six months old when we were shooting, I was feeding her through the night, getting up in the dark with a trainer with a headlamp, biking all the way to Paramount, even on location where we were shooting, then shooting a full day which is usually a 12-hour day and then starting all over again. Even just the idea of what I did to my body it’s like so crazy, so ridiculous. But you look back and you kind of go, ‘Did it really matter that much?’ Probably not. But at the time I made it mean everything." Demi Moore was living in Malibu at the time “Indecent Proposal” was filming at the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood. She decided to ride her bike to and from set each day to lose weight, which totaled around 60 miles each day.
