Me and Rick Box did some path clearing on a 1km path that has become an inaccessible jungle in Stockport.

Here was the finished pathway, it was getting a little dark so not the easiest to video. Needed chainsaw, hedge trimmer, rake and strimmer to get through this. Pathway is here

@Boxrick Top work though the strimming....don't forget to check the foliage before you go in with all nylon lines blazing. It's amazing how many 🦔 like nesting in overgrown areas and how many get injured by strimmers each year 👍

@Boxrick Strimming is last, once foliage down short. We had to pick out all the litter, wrappers, bottles before using strimmer.

@Boxrick But why clear out all the growth. You could have just cleared a path. That looked like a place where birds may have nested.

@Boxrick It's supposed to be a path, this is what it looked like in 2014. The growth Is all Buddleia, didn't see any birds or nests. Go another 50 metres down here and you get a woodland, probably find many birds there.

@Owler_Nook @Boxrick Bloody hell James, well done. So many similar paths all over Stockport like this. Some parts of the A555 cycle path are half the width they should be whilst the road verges are kept cut.
