Me before Web3... Before web3, my life revolved around bringing art and music to life in physical spaces. In 2016, I opened Rock Brothers Brewery in a 125-year-old, 10,000 sq ft historic building in Ybor City, FL. It was more than just a brewery—it was a cocktail bar and...

Edward Yang on the impact of watching Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972): "I found a job in Seattle at a research laboratory that contracted to do classified defense projects in microcomputers. I was among the first generation of designers and applicators for microcomputers and microprocessors. By the time I turned thirty I was pretty well established, with a team of seven or eight guys working on some very interesting projects. Later on I made the association that designing is like writing, and I realized that this background helped me a lot. After a couple of years as an engineer, of course, the routine bored me. One night, I was driving after work in downtown Seattle, and I saw a billboard outside a movie theater with the words, German New Wave, and the title, Aguirre: The Wrath of God. It made me curious, so I went in. I was fortunate. I came out a different person. That two hours just blew me away. It restored my sense of competence that I could be a filmmaker. This is what I thought a film should be. Film school would never teach you to make those kind of shots. That was one of the crucial moments of my life. I had turned thirty, I thought I was getting old, and three more years passed before I got the chance to work on a film project with a friend who asked me to write a script for him. I went back to Taipei, and also visited Hong Kong for the first time, and the film was shot in Japan. I got an offer to write and direct a made-for-TV movie in Taiwan, so I didn't go back to Seattle." — The Engineer of Modern Perplexity: An Interview with Edward Yang by Robert Sklar, published in Cineaste, Vol. 25, No. 3 in 2000

Today, I say goodbye to a place that, for five seasons, was much more than a club. It was my home, my challenge and the place where my family and I built such an important part of our lives. I leave with a heart full of memories and enormous pride for everything we lived and achieved together. When I arrived, I had a clear dream: to leave my name in this club’s history. I knew the only way was through hard work, sacrifice and achieving something that had seemed so difficult for so long: lifting a trophy again. **And we did it.** The journey wasn’t perfect, but I don’t want that to define my goodbye. I choose to remember the happy moments, the lessons, the people who stood by me and, above all, the love I received during these five years. Thank you to everyone at the club who shared this journey with me. Coaches, teammates, staff and every person working behind the scenes you are all part of my story and have a place in my heart. And to the fans: Thank you for loving me, respecting me and making me feel like one of you from day one. Thank you for every hug, every song, every flag, every applause and for always being there. I know I wasn’t perfect, but one thing gives me peace: I always gave everything. I defended this shirt with pride and with all my heart. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING I’m leaving the club, but a part of my heart will always remain here. Once I was one of you. Today, I leave as one of you forever. With all my love and respect. Thank you for everything. And goodbye Tottenham Hotspur 🤍

#SEONGHWA about walking the runway for SONGZIO today 🩶 ⭐️: Anyway, what I really wanted to say today is that, honestly, walking the runway has always felt like a dream to me. And now, counting this time I’ve done it three times in total, now twice with SONGZIO, which is a brand I really lov, so it made this an even more meaningful time for me. It was such a meaningful experience. While getting ready backstage, all the models were just incredibly cool.. really, so cool. Seeing them gave me a lot of courage and watching how the staff worked was very inspiring as well. In a way it kind of reminded me of ATEEZ in our earlier days, everyone felt close like a family and it was really nice to see. Yes, I learned a lot and felt a lot through this experience. Last time I was only focused on the runway itself, but this time I think I was able to see things more broadly. I think I saw the whole thing with a broader perspective, I learned and felt things. It was truly so much fun. And in those moments I really felt like I was the main character, I really had fun. Originally, during rehearsal, I was second to last. But the CEO started at the very end, and after I finished, I was waiting like this and I was supposed to go in around the final turn. Then suddenly, he changed the positions. So, unexpectedly, I ended up even doing the finale, and it felt so thrilling. At the same time though I worried whether I might somehow be kind of a burden among such amazing models so that (thought) made me study and practice even more. Even though I personally feel there are still many ways I’m lacking, I also found myself thinking that maybe I was able to be part of the story these people were writing through fashion. And that made me feel really proud. #SONGZIOFW25 #성화 #SONGZIO

Karl-Anthony Towns talks about feeling the presence of his late mother and the support he's gotten from his fiancé, Jordyn Woods: "Her presence is always felt in my life. You always pray you're going to pick the right woman for you and I know I did in my fiancé. I damn sure know now with that bag, that bag held it down. Shout-out to Woods by Jordyn. It's crazy, when she passed, there was so much turmoil in my life. Funny enough, my fiancé was the one, who was a friend at the time, was the only person I got to call before I had to go out there and say bye to her at the hospital. Me and her have a real bond that goes deeper than just physical features and everything like that. We've got a true friendship that was built from the ground up. I remember just always asking her if this was going to be my last time seeing her in the physical, let me feel her spirit at all times. In moments of true pressure and a lot of things going on, I always feel this calming come to me and it's always her. It's just great to always feel her arms around me and always to feel her love in my life, in so many different ways. It's a testament. I haven't felt love from a woman like that until I met my fiancé. It really means a lot that, in a way - without sounding weird - Jackie Jr. was able to be here celebrating this moment with me. It's amazing. It's truly a humbling feeling when you know you have walked the path. I stayed faithful. In every decision that I was supposed to make, I made the right one. Feels good to be at this moment."

⭐️: I honestly spent so much time thinking about it. At first, I kept wondering if it was the right choice. Every time I looked in the mirror, it felt unfamiliar and a little awkward. And I think there are certain shades of blonde that suit me, and others that just don’t feel like me. But I really, really thought about it a lot. On top of that, there were times when I was out and about and had to deal with some not-so-great reactions because of it, so I had a lot of worries. I kept going back and forth in my head. When I wore that outfit for the music show performance, I actually couldn’t sleep at all the night before. I had so many thoughts and worries that I was basically fighting with myself. My mood was really bad that day. But even though my body felt like it weighed a ton, I dragged myself to the music show and did it. And while I was there, I was still battling with myself, thinking, “Is this really right? Am I just too stuck in my own perspective to see it clearly? Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t get it.” But at the same time, I kept telling myself, “We already filmed the music video like this. This is something I have to commit to.” So I went on stage. I was honestly feeling really down that day. I had almost no confidence in myself. But later on, seeing that so many people understood it and liked it made me realise that maybe it wasn’t completely the wrong choice after all. That said, my favourite hairstyle on myself is still black hair. So today, I got my hair and makeup done, looked in the mirror, and thought, “I need to go live.” So here I am.

G-DRAGON’s new “ÜBERMENSCH” tour VCR: 🐉: (…) It was, at the same time, the most dazzling and radiant part of my youth. Back then, I tried to spend my time as relaxed as possible. I didn’t rush to do anything like before, nor did I feel the need to push myself further. That’s because I had spent so much time like that. 🐉: Now, I try to take a step back, travel alone, meet new people, and live an ordinary life. I spend time with friends, and I’ve naturally learned many things. 🐉: For eight years, I lived like a frog in a well *¹, and during that time, I often wondered whether it was really okay to live that way. But in the end, I’ve come to think that time was very necessary. I received a lot of help. It was because of that period that I regained the motivation to want to become something again. 🐉: And among it all, the word that kept coming to mind was “Übermensch”. That word felt like a kind of spell to me, like a protective shield. “ÜBERMENSCH, THE BEING WHO LIVES BY HIS OWN WILL. Human beings are something that must be overcome.” 🐉: When I was a child, I admired singers and wanted to become one myself. That’s why I am where I am now. But after achieving that dream, at some point, I lost the feeling of wanting to become something. Or maybe I simply wasn’t thinking about anything at all… 🐉: I was just taking a bit of a rest, not knowing what kind of image I should show or what I should focus on, but I eventually made a comeback and met people again. If I hadn’t had that time (the hiatus), perhaps nothing would have changed from how I was before. 🐉: Now, I feel like I’ve become more positive than before. I feel I have more emotional and mental room. The “me” that you’re seeing now smiles a bit more than before. I’ve gotten much better. 🐉: I was given time just for myself, and it feels like someone placed a rest (a pause)*² in my life. #GDRAGON #GD #지드래곤 #지디 #ÜbermenschInTokyo_Day1
