Me during Godzilla Minus One when the Godzilla theme started playing as the boats moved forward

My mom is 64, and she was fucking hyped up in her seat dancing when this scene started. She looks at me, and says I use to listen to this when I was a little girl with a huge smile on her face. Go watch this movie with your parents if possible.

I got depressed halfway through and checked out, but then when the telegram got delivered right as Shikishima was pulling up on Godzilla I felt like I got brought back to life. then the ships started moving in and the theme kicked in and this was me:

I was blown away on how they used the "King Kong vs Godzilla" theme in a way that fits with the film's tone.

It's been so long since the godzilal theme was used to signify a military effort that I was so fucking hyped

YES. Did you realize they used a melody from King Kong vs Godzilla (the old one, not Godzilla vs Kong) in that scene as well as the boats wrapped around Godzilla? It's the music used to put King Kong to sleep in that movie.
