Not to interfere with the joke but just to clarify for anyone unsure, those are Goliath bird-eating spiders, a massive tarantula found in South America and often kept as pets. They definitely have huge spiders in Australia (huntsman spiders), but not this one normally.

The spider is actually a Goliath birdeater. A species of tarantula found in South America. Not venomous, and not likely to bite.
