I'm not agreeing with Tom, but I don't really see your point. I appreciate Anglican Chant and Choral Evensong but that doesn't mean I think the churches where it is happening are theologically sound.

I genuinely think ALL FV dogma is grounded in the practice of paedocommunion, which affirms the objectivity of the covenant and its benefits. So, in that sense, I am more than comfortable with it. Nevertheless, today, the phrase primarily distinguishes Southern Presbyterian formulations of the sacraments (Non-FV) from the sacramentology of virtually all Reformers (FV). One cannot reasonably read Book IV of the Institutes and conclude: "The FV guys sound nothing like Calvin." Calvin would make most Presbyterians blush in his ecclesiology and sacramentology. I am perfectly comfortable affirming that Calvin was not enthusiastic about paedocommunion, though it should be noted that his critiques were mainly directed towards Anabaptists. To my knowledge, Calvin offered no critique of the Hussites and their practice of infant communion.
