Meanwhile in Japan...Masa!

Masataka Yoshida greeted his former team with an absolute bomb! 🔥 #RedSox #吉田正尚

last one twin

@ori_ramenMY

I think he’s ready for a good red sox season this year🫣

that’s my DH

彼は準備ができています！

The man

Can he just stay there please. Baseball players who can’t throw or field are boring.

@ninetwentyninee He’s got a great launch angle at the WBC, at least from the clips I’ve seen. Seems different from what we’ve seen in a Sox jersey. Is it just me seeing a difference?

Me watching Yoshida wbc highlights mid season when he gets banished to the shadow realm

Great! Maybe somebody will want to trade for him.

Trade him if you’re not going to use him 👀

He’s about to have a special season for us. I can feel it🙏

My DH

@tatwumi Can Boston fans do this chant in Fenway for him?

red sox wasted his talent

His trade stock is Climbing

That's my DH !!

well he may be traded with a great WBC

@patsnation0815 Awesome! Get that trade value up and then see ya! 👋

Powerful Homer.

Wish he could do that here in Boston

Ngl this dude is a whole different player on team Japan 😂

Of course he does

There's always lots of talk about players coming to MLB from Japan, but - and hear me out - what if a player was to get traded back there. It would be new & innovated. Masa could be the test case. And in the name of cultural good will, Red Sox would need very little in return.

stay there

@Leo__Swallow まさ！

And when he returns you guys will put him on the IL with a mystery injury.

play him.
