Imagine being a Jewish student on this campus and watching this terror-supporting parade make its way through the University. How can Jewish students feel safe in this environment?

Muslim students at an Indian university wanted to pray during Ramadan. But the university sealed the campus mosque’s shut. So, these Hindu students staged a protest to protect their classmates amid rising anti-Muslim violence in the country.

My number one priority is protecting the safety of all New Yorkers and students — both Jewish students and students protesting. Every student deserves to feel safe walking on their campus.
