The Oasis tour is turning out to be a cultural phenomenon for our times. I saw them at their last tour 2008-9, just before the breakup. It was a terrific, crowdpleasing evening. But this goes beyond that, or does it? Is something else causing this time to be so astounding?

Fans that couldn’t get tickets, stadium was sold out , they turned up anyway to party in the pubs outside the stadium , amazing ! I don’t think any other band has a fanbase base like oasis does ..
