One should not read Peskov’s statement as Russia “taking Pakistan’s side” against India. It is Russia's "strategic autonomy" Many times, India has also practiced exactly the same kind of autonomy. Whatever his reading is fact is Pakistani general populace has gotten overconfident, there is an insane arms race in the neighborhood now, and countries like Bangladesh which have 0 strategic gain from.joining.such a coalition and thereby burdening themselves with billions of dollars of defence spending to protect themselves from India, something currently they have a zero threat on. Doesn't seem to be like any regional stability or security here. Considering 1.4 billion of the 1.9 billion people of this whole region including Turkey live in India, there is absolutely no sense in trying to mess around. Collective security is for development supposedly, Pakistan has had 75 years of amazing development.

Pakistan isn't doing anything against Yemen who attacked Saudi, pak has history of defence pacts from 1960s but no pact worked as signed on paper. hence In case of India like strong military it's economically and militarily unaffordable for Saudi and turkey to get involved
