After 18+ years as a technician I have literally never done this or heard of anyone doing this.

NEVER put WD-40 in your locks. Never ever.

WD40 is flammable. DO not do this! A citrus cleaner or the like mixed with water works wonders and won't burn.

Not really, there are degreasers and engine bay cleaners developed for this specific job. WD40 is not the most ideal product.

WD= water displacement AKA not moisturizer

They use break-clean not WD40 and only on parts, not the entire engine

Keeps them hydrated lol, WD = Water Displacement

A dusty place becomes completely useless and even uglier.👌

Wd40 is a solvent. That is horrible for plastic
