MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf (2004)

I don't know why we can't get another arcade experience set in the Battle Tech world. I loved Mech Assault because of its cool mech designs (clan mechs look cooler, not sorry), and the simplified gameplay. The MechWarrior games are fine, but kinda boring.

I love MechAssault so much. It wasn't until years later that I learned it was based on BattleTech. I still wish we could get more mech games that play like Mech Assault.

Loved this game on live. Favorite was to get 7 of those power suits vs 1 Ragnarok. Fun for hours.

Oddly enough you can play this one on Xbox One but the original is still stuck with only being playable with an original Xbox. Probably a rights issue that’s not worth their effort to untangle which sucks

@ArtofBattletech I loved MA2 and honestly one of my most nostalgic features was in the multiplayer lobby you all hungout in a readyroom with an avatar of your choosing. It doesnt seem that special, if i recall you had proximity voip? Or maybe it was just regular voip but it was just neat

Bro, if y'all like MechAssault, there's a project called @Wolves_Game that got the OG voice actors for Foster and Natalia and is making a fan game as we speak! Their next demo drop is coming up on April 10th!

Both of these need a remastered and have it be done by piranha games the developers of mechwarrior 5 mercenaries

second was good. but first was way better in my op.

I played this on hard the entire way through using only the Power Armor except where it wasn't available. Fantastic game - I cannot recommend it enough. And that's coming from someone who grew up with MW3.

I used this game to softmod my console.. and I still have it.. I want to upgrade the card drive, but already ruined that hard drive.. Fatexplorer did something wrong or I did in the process.

RIGHT NOW!

I would pay good money for 1 and 2 to be playable easily again.
