I am calling on the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany – we need the means to fully and effectively protect Ukraine and its people. We need permissions for long-range capabilities, as well as your long-range shells and missiles. Today, I held a Staff meeting where we had in-depth discussions about the use of air defense systems and the protection of our cities and communities. Steps were identified to make the use of the systems we already have more effective. We are also working on securing additional protection for Ukraine. We are very much counting on the "Patriot" system that Romania is preparing to provide, and I will be grateful to Romania for this crucial support. This is something that will truly help our people, our country, and our entire region. We continue to work with all our partners to secure stronger support for our defense—especially long-range solutions that could destroy a significant portion of Russian ballistic missiles before they even launch. This is one of the key issues of this war. The issue of our long-range capabilities and the necessary approvals from our partners, as well as the long-range shells and missiles we could use, is critical. Russian strikes will become impossible if we have the ability to destroy the occupier's launch sites, military airfields, and logistics hubs where they are located. Granting Ukraine these approvals and providing us with this weaponry would be the biggest step toward a real, just end to this war. Russia simply doesn't know how to fight without terror—terrorist strikes and their ability to create destruction have replaced tactics and strategy for the Russian leadership in this war.

Some people try to present these as two opposite goals – improving people’s quality of life and lowering living costs on the one hand, and strengthening security and defense capabilities on the other. But we should remember that fuel prices, energy costs, and Europe’s competitiveness are targets for Russia just as much as our independence and the right of our peoples to choose their own future. Russia attacks Europeans’ wallets just as much as it attacks their rights. That is why the stronger we are, the more stability our people will have. From an intervention at the Bucharest Nine Summit. It complicates our ultimate objectives in my opinion—the most important of which is the collapse of the Iranian regime. I believe these discussions that are taking place and have been taking place need to be more about the terms of surrender. If we stay the course including militarily, the chances of the regime collapsing are very high. Especially, if we also focus on key economic sectors where they have dual use.. We don’t want a forever war, we want to end this thing.

Modern warfare can no longer be imagined without drones, and Ukrainian unmanned systems are operating successfully at different levels: from carrying out missions on the frontline to striking important enemy facilities hundreds of kilometers deep inside its territory. All of this is being documented, and it is thanks to the precision and skill of our operators that Russia’s losses have long exceeded 30,000 killed and wounded per month. I thank each and every person serving in the Unmanned Systems Forces, developing Ukrainian technologies, and working for the sake of our advantage on the battlefield. This week alone, Russia used more than 3,000 strike drones against our cities and communities – a significant portion of them “shaheds” – as well as over 1,450 guided aerial bombs and 40 missiles of various types. The Russians are not dialing back their war effort against our state and our people, and at the same time, they are openly investing in prolonging another war that is driving global destabilization. Ukraine is being attacked with essentially the same strike drones as those used against countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Ballistic weapons are used against us just as cynically as they are against our partners. The destabilization of global markets and the blocking of maritime routes have not left a single country unaffected. We are making our contribution to guaranteeing security. And it is important that the world does not lose time or opportunities. Clear, decisive, and coordinated efforts are needed to provide real protection for life and to stop wars. We need to build joint and modern defense systems proven in war. We must develop joint production of modern and effective weapons. We must unite our capabilities so that people can live in peace in Europe, the Middle East, and other parts of the world. Thank you to everyone who is helping us protect lives!

Our long-range capabilities, artillery, and ability to expand our area of control are all important. Every day is important now, in terms of communication, politics, and logistics. For everything that helps our warriors fight and saves Ukraine’s life and the lives of Ukrainians. We will have more weapons, shells, drones, and EW systems. Today, I met workers from one of our defense facilities. We do not talk about it officially. During wartime, we cannot openly demonstrate our capabilities. We will, of course, openly express our gratitude after the war. These are the people who have found a way to significantly strengthen our country. Putin: “The issue of further deployment of medium and shorter-range missiles will be decided by us depending on the actions of the United States and its satellites. Sites to be struck in further tests of our latest missile systems will be determined by us based on the security threats to the Russian Federation. I recommend that the ruling elites of those countries that plan to use their military contingents against Russia should seriously think about this.
