According to Fairfield police, a school resource officer responded to a "physical altercation involving multiple students on campus" just after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Police say a high school student was fighting a school official who was trying to break up the fight. According to Fairfield police, the officer then saw another student trying to retrieve an item from a backpack during the fight - which the officer believed was a weapon. The officer then confiscated two backpacks. Police say the officer then escorted one of the students involved in the fight to a campus office. They say a large group followed the pair, including other students "who were actively trying to fight the student the officer had detained." After the student had been taken to the office, police say the officer tried to approach a second student who was trying to fight. The student refused to listen, according to police, and went back to a large group, where more students were fighting. The police are stopped at the door by the school secretary who tells them they have to wait for the school safety officer .. WHAT ? He asks her directly, "Why do you steal?" to which she adamantly demands that only female officers handle her case, yelling, "I want a woman to touch me. Woman only!" The male officer agrees to accommodate her request for a female officer but notes that she needs to wear a protective mesh hood first. He places a spit hood (a breathable fabric hood used by law enforcement to protect officers from being b!tten or spit on) over her head. ​A female officer enters to take over the interaction. The woman becomes significantly calmer with her, allowing the female officer to touch her hair and adjust the hood. The 19-year-old in blue was talking to the police, possibly arguing with them about bullying. A racist police officer attacked him. His brother came over to talk to the officer and stop him from attacking his brother for no obvious reason. The officer then turned and started punching the brother in the face. The brother, dressed in grey, defended himself against the aggressor. A fight ensued, and it quickly escalated out of control. The police officers lost the fight they had started without reason. They used tasers, causing the young man in blue to fall to the ground with his hands behind his back. His brother in grey sat on a bench, putting his hands on his head. During a chaotic fight on campus in Highland, students gathered in a circle as tensions escalated. When a female school resource officer stepped in to break it up, two teenagers allegedly turned on her, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her to the ground while others screamed and recorded. Staff and additional officers rushed in to regain control. Schools are supposed to be places of learning, not battlegrounds. Officer Karen is attempting to shut down Christians in Ft Worth Texas for hate speech because their speech “Offended” a bystander . One of the gentleman that she’s attempting to silence via a citation is a 26 year federal police officer who knows the law. When he calls her out on it, she changes it from hate speech to disorderly conduct.. She’s basically all over the map, but unfortunately this is what our nation is dealing with now from the top to the bottom.. these gentlemen stood their ground bravo for them.

I have to say this arrest video really caught me off guard. Female police officer pulls over a truck for not coming to a complete stop at a stop, sign. The woman behind the wheel obliges and gives her drivers license. The officer discovers that the woman’s insurance had lapsed two days earlier so she commands of the woman to get out of her car. The woman wants to know why in the officer says I don’t have to give you a reason get out of the car this escalates as you can imagine the officer proceeds to drag the woman out of her car, slap her around and get extremely rough with her.. Shockingly so for something like this.. I want your opinions on this one because I’m generally pro law-enforcement, but this seems over the top. She gave this woman a concussion. There’s more to the story and I will Post part two for context the and conclusion.

Congratulations to the winners of the Third Annual #XOStudentDesignChallenge 👏 Eight Clark County-based students ranging from elementary school to college won the opportunity to have their Pi Day-themed artwork displayed on the Exosphere as part of a collaboration between Sphere, the Clark County School District (CCSD) and University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). In addition to having their work displayed on the Exosphere, winning CCSD high school and UNLV students received a $10,000 educational scholarship from Sphere. Winning CCSD elementary and middle school students earned a $10,000 donation from Sphere for their school’s art program to further art education in public schools, along with tickets for the entire school to attend The Wizard of Oz at Sphere or another Sphere Experience at a future date.
