This neighborhood has an older German Shepherd who was known to roam the neighborhood. He disappeared for awhile until he showed up at this man’s house. “You came back, where were you?" Probably the first time he felt like someone cared. He had a bad open wound on him. This man took him in, fed him, sheltered him, and took him to the vet who cared for his wound. He even posted pictures of him on social media trying to find his owner. No luck. So, he kept him and has given him care, shelter and a fighting chance and most importantly, a love. ❤️ You are a hero sir. Thank for giving him a home. Would you take a stray dog in like this if he showed up at your house ? I would!

NEW: Los Angeles homeowner pulls out a gun after masked thugs try to rob him as he is entering his home. Good for him. "There was nothing in my house that was worth dying for. But I was willing to die for my family. If anybody else ever tries to come, they’re going to die for trying to come in this house," he said. The man said he had his wife and a 5-month-old baby inside so the intruders entering the home "wasn't going to happen." "Out of nowhere I felt someone run up behind me, put something to my back, put a pistol to my back and somebody running up," he said. "I guess they decided to try to come at me and come in the house but I have a 5-month-old baby and a wife and a nanny in the house and that wasn’t going to happen." The incident happened on Saturday evening at about 7:30pm.

‼️‼️COBB COUNTY, GA‼️‼️ Rocky (21683) is available for adoption… ⬇️ READ HIS STORY ⬇️ Rocky is only 4 years old, hound mix. He arrived at the shelter just two weeks ago, on August 12th. He was found as a stray with an ID, so the shelter reached out to his family. Sadly, they decided not to come for him… 🥺💔 Ever since Rocky arrived, he has been struggling here. He spends his days curled up in his bed, and recently, he stopped eating. The shelter has been trying to get him to eat by adding wet food to his dry food, but he still wasn’t eating.💔 In just two weeks at the shelter, Rocky has lost 7 pounds‼️💔 Today, I was asked to go visit Rocky because he really needed help and visibility. I decided I was also going to try to feed him. I thought maybe if I hand-fed him, he would be willing to eat. Maybe he just needed to feel loved. Maybe he needed someone to sit with him and remind him that he wasn’t alone. So I got a can of wet food and took Rocky into the bonding room. And he ate. ❤️😭🙏🏻 He ate half of the can, and that absolutely made my entire day.💖 Rocky is such a sweet boy, but he is also incredibly sad. You can see how much this environment is affecting him. I took him outside, took him for a walk, spent some time with him, and told him that he was loved. Now he has no food to eat because there is no foreign funding - His mother is from SC but there is no Neha Bharti to support him - He wants a fair exam but there is no Rahul Gandhi or Kejriwal to protest with him - He has no money to survive and he wants a job but there is no Dhruv Rathee to make a video about him. Poor Rohan has no one because this state is not ruled by the BJP. If it were ruled by the BJP, he would have all these frauds on his side 🙏

He waits in his euthanasia pen to take his final walk. With currently no interest, we can't let him die without at least trying to help him. His name is Argos, and he belongs to Ulysses, the Greek hero also known as Odysseus. Before Ulysses sailed away to fight in the Trojan War, he had raised Argos from a puppy, a fast and beautiful hunting dog. Then the war called, and Ulysses left. He would not come home for twenty years. When Ulysses finally set foot on his own island again, he came in disguise, dressed as a beggar, so that no one would know him. His house was full of men trying to steal his wife and his kingdom. To survive, he had to remain a stranger in his own home. No one recognized him. Not his loyal servants. Not the people who had known him all his life. But lying in the dirt by the gate, old and forgotten, covered in ticks, too weak to stand, was a dog. Argos had waited twenty years. And the moment he saw him, he knew. He was the only one. Nearly blind, half dead, he lifted his head and pricked up his ears, and he wagged his tail for the master he had never stopped waiting for.
