it’s getting pretty fun ngl

I just said to my friend this summer: “within 12 months I’ll bet I have a robot working along side me to help looking after my mom” looks like that will happen before the end of 2025! Excited to meet Sam! Congrats @audrlo and team! Way to push the innovation. 👍❤️🙌✨

thanks for your support greg!

Technology is advancing More robots like this will start coming up daily Robots that do things humans used to do Robots that solve a simple problem Eventually they will be all over

I'm sorry if you guys mentioned this, but if, say, my grandmother falls down the stairs, can sam send me a picture or like a live video of the situation and calm her down with some soothing tones or words that help is on the way while watching her from the top of the stairs? This is a great idea btw, sincerely.

yes there is remote monitoring + it immediately comforts if something goes wrong

Kai is mogging geez

@nusmark_dhruv let's go dhruv

Great work Audrey. How do the grandparents like it?

tested it in a ton of homes and got a lot of positive feedback they like that it can talk to them, while families love the safety component

That’s gotta be super encouraging to hear.

yes we’re so excited

Safety and innovation rolled into one Sam sounds like a game-changer

thanks man!

Are there any plans to showcase this robot in Dubai?

Love this! It could be useful for hangover people too. Just to expand your ICP haha congrats guys!!

Sam is so cute Sides notes: 1. I think the height would cause my grandma to hurt her back bending over looking at it. 2. Would you consider having it linked to a chat app? My grandma is deaf and to interact she would have to be able to read what it’s saying. 3. Another note about height, my grandma uses a walker. I wonder if it would be easy for her to get it to move when it was in her path.

thanks for sharing! 1. we adjusted the eye position so the senior doesn't need to bend over, and a lot of times, seniors were bending over because they couldn't hear it (so we doubled the volume output). we definitely do not want seniors bending over. 2. it does come with an app! 3. it moves automatically out of the way and it's trained to give seniors right-of-way. in nursing home testing and family testing it's never run into anything, not even table legs. we also notice seniors gesture at it to get it to go in certain directions so we're implementing that.

Congratulations and I’m excited to follow Sam’s journey! P.S. forgot to add, will sam have support for multiple languages? :)

yes sam speaks 12 languages out of the box, and there's an additional ~30 languages that we're custom deploying based on requests from our beta customers. basically, when someone buys, they let us know what language they want (down to specific chinese dialects) and we make it happen.

I like the idea of the task the robot created it for. All the best, Audrey.

Nah this insane fr

hahahaa

awesome, let's go Audrey

thanks chris
