The lawsuit was filed against Clark County School District in Nevada. The complaint claims that the student “came home from school with a swastika physically carved into his back and the service dog bag was broken and re-sewn. [He] refused to enter that specific bathroom after that day.” The student has since been homeschooled.

Bus driver called the school to demand a resource officer because he alleged a student got on the wrong bus. The student, and other students, confirmed this was his bus. He needed to get home immediately after school to babysit his 6 yr old brother. The resource officer demanded he exit the bus so the other kids could get home. Then the officer tased the student and threatened to do it again The officer has been removed from duty at the school. Lawsuit is not yet filed.

This kid was at a massive crossroads in life If his parents had simply done what the school suggested, He would be on ADHD meds and still glued to his ipad (these meds are often for life) Instead his parents said "no" to meds and reduced his exposure to technology. The effects of simply taking a kids ipad away: -Significant improvement in school grades -More engaged & charming -No longer in a daze The path chosen by his parents to remove the ipad was surely more difficult, But it altered the course of this kid's life for the better. When someone in the tech industry (who is also a parent) says "these apps are horrible for kids", Maybe more parents should listen to his message
