I don’t want a new Home Screen. How do I opt out?

This new forced Home Screen update on Roku sucks! Put it back! The great joy of Roku is simplicity and customization and you removed both! I went from 4 menu items to now 8 and I can’t remove them. I don’t give a sh*t about live tv, subs, for you, etc. Hate it! 👎

Why can't I put my inputs on my home screen? I had my home screen laid out the way I preferred with my inputs first. Now I have to click through extra steps to do something that worked for me, and that is an inconvenience. At least give me the option to make my own choices.

Now, with this new thing, when I turn off the tv it comes back on. Also, many functions that used to work with Alexa are gone. This is not an upgrade, it's an inconvenience. I have three ultimate boxes all doing the same thing. I had better not have to start unplugging the TV.

Who in their right mind thought this new home screen was a good idea!? It's absolutely trash. I don't give a rats ASS about top pics, your shitty quick access, or what my next watch should be. I want my Apps, Plain and simple. You took something great and broke it. FIx THIS NOW!!

Your new Home Screen has screwed up my ROKU Ultra. It has trouble connecting with my internet and when it does it buffers every 8 minutes or so!

I went with ROKU devices at home because of the control it gave to the user. A very simple, clean interface & ability to remove things I do not want to see. The recent updates have me looking for a new device or mini PC I can control the way I want. It really sucks these days. You find something nice that works- but unwanted digital updates change the very things you enjoyed. Don't even get me started on the oversized ADs and other crap.

And it’s god awful. As someone with autism, this completely disrupts not only mine but everyone routine who has ASD, The Home Screen has stayed the same since basically the start of Roku. Why wasn’t a toggle to go back to the old home screen not an option??

I’m a long-time Roku fan, but this latest home experience is terrible. It’s so bad I’m considering Apple TV. Please roll it back to the last version or give users the option to do so.

So how can I undo this? Mine just started looking like this today. It’s awful, 0/10 stars, fix it.

Blows. I don't care what you have picked for me with your AI algorithm. Just put all my apps up top, front and center and let me pick what I want. Don't make me scroll down for them through your ads and crap.

The great thing about Roku has always been their not forcing you into anything. The Home Screen has always been customizable. Now after 15 years of loyalty, I’m gonna look elsewhere. You’ve made it more difficult to find what I need.

It flipping sucks! Quick access? I had that until you bloated the screen full of unless crap. Stop touching things you don't know anything about. Also REMOVE the #Howdy save list from my Roku Channel save list they are 2 completely separate apps. #WhyDoesFoxFuckEverthingUp

Separating the TV Inputs from the home screen is one of the worst UI “ improvements” @Roku has ever made. Its bad enough with the constant Horrible ads you put on screen despite my parental settings.

F!Roku, Everything i have been hiding everytime i turn roku on kept reappearing again and again and again as of yesterday, Today its a big cluster fuck of junk repeat tiles on my home screen that i don't wanna see. Thanks for taking away our own personalized home screen 🤬 🖕🖕

This is awful. Please let me revert back to the old home screen. I've praised my Roku tv and from here on out no more praise will be had.

I HATE this update. I want control of WHAT I see on m6 homescreen. I have to scroll down the page past a bunch of crap to see MY APPS. Fix this now!

To show just YOUR APPS: Go into: -Settings -Home Screen -Recommendation Rows ---> set to HIDE -Quick Access ---> set to HIDE Now just YOUR APPS will be on the Home Screen...

Man, this update totally screwed up my TV when it finally landed on my TV, the hdmi inputs keep screwing up for the cable box, isnt the cable or box because they work fine on other TV’s. Dog shit new home screen and this issue make me never want another one from y’all.
