I have always been fascinated about large old machines. I should have went to Mechanical Engineering school instead of dental school! 😂

They are de-industrialising and its all their own fault. Won't be long till they run out of all that cheap Russian oil running these machines, all while The German Govt. purposefully allowed the sabotage of Nordstream & destroyed it's nuclear power plants. Madness!!

German engineering was once insanely good quality. Same with German Cars. These days BMW/Mercedes Cars are shit quality.

German machines especially for Metal processing are one of the BEST!!

I used to deliver machines to machine shops in Michigan. I got to see things that would blow your mind away! I’m a bit of a Tow Sawyer when it came to my employment. I followed whatever interested me. School was too restrain felt I was muffled. But once I dictated my life I just did that. I’m not rich , should be, but I have a wealth of knowledge and experiences. I got to clean and take apart these machines no schooling. Then I worked in the nuclear field and my knowledge tripled so amazing things I got to see on huge scales. I’m glad someone finds these things interesting I don’t feel so a lone in feeling there is so much to learn in such little time. Beautiful

Unfortunately, Germany's industrial machines (after enjoying large export revenues from China) have now been copied (by China) and are now, no longer needed. The German economic 'miracle' based on the phantom of 'globalization' (aka Chinafication) was an illusion.

Back when Germany was a country of engineers. Now is a country of woke sad people.

I have worked as a conventional machinist for over 30 yrs. And have refurbished a lot of old machines. And they are still in operation. Thank you for sharing
