My time on the RTFKT Creators team has come to an end. I’m forever thankful to Franco and the rest of the creator team who carved out a “Creator In Residence” role for me knowing how much this creator ecosystem meant to me. As a creator who came into this space knowing nothing about digital avatar content creation, to have had the chance to push myself even further with projects like Animus Logs or the MK Pill Recap video has been a true blessing. I’m the biggest fan of Clones and my passion has always been for experimenting and sharing what’s been possible with them, so naturally being on a team that encouraged me to continue to do that has been a dream come true. But if you know me, you know the thing I’ve cared about above all is the family of creators that have poured their hearts into this project. I’ve had the most unforgettable life experiences connecting with all of you in real life and this network of genuinely awesome people is the one magical experience that I would do anything to help share. Words can’t explain it, but to be able to find friends in Tokyo, a younger brother in Germany, an older brother in Korea, a family in Los Angeles, future friends in Australia, it’s been an adventure of a lifetime that I’m so grateful for and it’s an experience that I think has true value in this shallow web3 world. These people are really just the coolest, and I’m proud to call them friends. To be able to play a part on the team and help with any of the efforts to push it all forward, whether it was organizing virtual/irl meetups, planning creator challenges, concepting ways to reward and highlight creators, or just going the extra step to connect personally, has been my honor and I’m proud to have given it my best. This type of ad has been crushing it lately. And I'm talking about the "Brand story" type of ad. Let's analyze how it works. These ads follow a simple 3-part structure: - Hook - Body - New thing 1. The Hook The first thing these ads have is a strong first line that gets attention and generates curiosity. The only goal: to stop the scroll. It usually starts with something unexpected: a problem, a confession, a struggle, or a strong curiosity gap. 2. The Body Then we have the body, which is what all these videos have in common and why all these videos perform really well: The idea here is to share the story of the brand, the mission, and how and why they started. Show the progress they have been making. This creates a feeling of effort and like the journey of a hero. You know, when, like in movies, the hero has a mission to achieve or save something/someone, and you really connect with that idea and you cheer for him, well, it's the same here. 3. The End After building emotional investment, the creator finally introduces the “new thing”: a new feature, a new drop, a new product, a new update. The reveal hits harder because the story has already earned the viewer’s attention and trust. Instead of “Here’s our product,” it becomes: “Here’s what our journey led to.” And psychologically, that’s much more powerful. That's all for today! This was day 18/60 of analyzing a brand per day. Ft Aston Villa 1 v 2 Spurs Oh Robert De Zerbi 🔥🔥get in there 👊🏼 What an unbelievable win it’s in our hands now and we are out of the relegation zone. That first half of football that was! The best this season, I think. We got in their faces from the off, pressing them relentlessly. De Zerbi’s ball was there for all to see: 50/50s and 2nd balls. Gallagher’s strike to put us one up was superb. Palhinha hit the post with another great shot shortly after. We were all over them. Martinez pulled off a great save to stop them going 2-0 before Richarlison put in our second. The scenes in the away end were amazing he is ready for the battle as always. Bentancur, Palhinha, and Gallagher were controlling the midfield with Destiny getting forward well Tel needed to be a bit calmer on his final ball. At HT we had 8 shots 4 on target to their none Palhinha was like an animal in the second half pressing tackle just unbelievable with Bentancur and Gallagher working so hard. Kinsky’s ball control and distribution was so good. MVDV had to make a couple of crucial tackles but we were very comfortable. I felt like I was watching a football team tonight Leeds next #COYS 🤍💙
