Bondi genuinely thought there was more coming. She's just naïve. I don't think she would have intentionally rug pulled these folks. What's to gain? My suspicion is that Bondi (And Bongino and Patel), learned that the people on the Epstein list were, and still are, US intelligence assets... and were forced to do a 180 or risk compromising ongoing operations. It's the only thing that makes sense. Before they got in, they didn't know, so they were super keen to release the info. After they got in, and learned about it all, they were stuck.
