Today on Game The Mind, LeBron critiqued his own mid-range game, saying that while improved, going to his right is still a mental challenge. From 10-feet out to the 3ball line, he shot .444 this season on 296 attempts, a huge improvement from .335 a year ago on 210 attempts. By comparison, 40 year old Jordan shot .432 from the same range on 1,127 attempts-- Obviously, MJ's game was almost completely mid-range, shooting 74% of his shots from mid-range, opposed to LeBron at 40, shooting 22% of his shots from mid-range.
