This Memorial Day, as we gather with family and friends, it’s important not only to celebrate, but to remember those who gave their last full measure of devotion to the United States of America, the men and women who laid down their lives so that this nation, the last best hope on Earth, could endure and continue striving toward a more perfect union. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms many will never fully comprehend. They gave everything so future generations of Americans could live free. And in honoring them, we should also choose service. Service to our communities, service to one another, and service to this country, because it is honorable, and because we owe a debt to those who are no longer here to serve for themselves. I love this country more than anything. And I believe with all my heart that America is worth sacrificing for. Happy Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

The UFC has not given him an offer. They’re not legally allowed to. We have an exclusive negotiating period. We’re putting together an offer, and we’re going to sit down and talk with them. I think our offer will be competitive. It’s really up to him. We would love to have him. We would love to keep him... I do have to say, it’s a little bit funny... I started saying a year ago, ‘This guy is one of the best lightweights in the world,’ and I think people were almost mocking me. The original speculation was that he wouldn’t even be top 15 in the UFC... Now I find it kind of ironic that he is being paraded around like he’s the salvation of mixed martial arts. This, THIS was a scream for help. A scream no one heard. Liam went through so much all by himself. And people unnecessarily hate(d) him so much for nothing. You call(ed) him an alcoholic drug addict and tarnish(ed) his image as much as you could. Until the last moment AND even now. I'll never forget anyone who did this. Not in a million years. And I'll NEVER forgive you. You never understood him. You never understood what addiction is. You only blamed him. You didn't and still don't want to accept that addiction might be a way to hide depression. And this shows. Depression is always underestimated but when it is about a public figure, it's even worse. You simply never cared about him. And that shows what kind of people you are. Scums. Hating him for no reason at all. Also “Y thing went wrong in life, so I blocked Liam Payne”. Fuck you, from all my heart. Liam never deserved anything that happened. He was such a bright soul, such an amazing person, with the warmest heart. He was supposed to be HERE with US now, not 6 feet under, in cold, alone, with no blanket to keep him warm. I will hate you for this for the rest of my life. And I will hate you in my next life too. I hope at least a part of his pain, even the smallest part, will go back to you. You won't be able to bear it. He was strong, you aren't. But you deserve it. And you, exactly the ones who did this to him, the ones who ended him, I know you'll probably never be able to feel the pain you gave him, but I hope the guilt will eat you alive and that karma will hit you when you least expect it. We can't brink Liam back, no matter what we do (believe me, I’d do ANYTHING possible in this world if I know it'll bring him back) but at least I hope you will pay for what you did. Instead I pushed through, I fought with him, and for him, every, single, day. I thank God for my experience as a physical therapist. Here’s Rivers’ full confession from tonight’s LUX TOUR Confessional with ROSALÍA: “When I was in high school, there was a boy I really liked. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was?
