@Itsdani3l_ He’s a great kid as well!! 3.5 GPA in college so far. Recruitment is starting to take off too!! Lots of programs close to the same level as Memphis are showing serious interest, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Memphis gives him a call soon.

Averaged 13.0 PPG and 4.5 REB on 49/39/87 shooting splits, before getting hurt in January. Has heard from Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Utah State, Virginia Tech, Arizona State + more. Great news out of Tennessee! The legislature has just approved a new map that would eliminate Steve Cohen's Memphis district. He has represented this overwhelmingly majority-black district since 2007, and I believe he has not done a great job. This is a prime opportunity for the people of Memphis to finally get better representation, which will be fantastic for our entire state as Memphis is brought up to the same level as other cities with great congressional leaders. #Tennessee #Memphis #Redistricting #BetterRepresentation

NEWS: Chattanooga transfer G Jordan Frison has committed to Wichita State, his agent Zach Lucchesi of Sports Network LLC tells me. The Memphis native averaged 16.4 PPG and 4.0 AST on hyper-efficient 56/46/82 shooting splits. Frison put up an excellent PPS of 1.25, shooting a ridiculous 69% at the rim as a small guard. Profiles as a shot-creating guard, shooting extremely well off the dribble (59.3% EFG with over 56% of jumpers OTD).

Good lateral athleticism / strength combination that allows him to guard the 3-4 really effectively. Still coming into his shot, but looked more comfortable last year. Like the physical tools a lot, so upside is definitely there. Averaged 5.9 PTS and 3 REB on 44/27/64 shooting splits in 17 minutes per game last season at Iowa.
