Zoe the timing of this is concerning Our society has never been more divided and has lost its sense of calm and normalcy following Bondi, and the terrible attack last night in Western Sydney In the Bondi attack it was innocent unarmed men who risked death to protect women and children. Thankfully an armed female police officer acted but check the publicly available footage, every other single person fighting the attacker was male Men suffer horrendous rates of suicide and yet you stay silent on their suffering Now is not the time to stoke further distress, play the blame game nor to demonise a sector of our society for their gender, or for the actions of a few. Now is a time for healing, respect and being cognizant of being compassionate towards others

If you want a man’s opinion, here’s mine. Impose much tougher penalties on violent criminals to stop them reoffending. Impose much tougher curbs on p0rn to reduce the disrespect for women that it teaches young men. Why no mention of those things?

Plenty of misandrists masquerading as activists. The overwhelming majority of men are decent, and will protect women. Both men and women play a part in raising young men, and the recent tragedy highlights the need for better mental healthcare.
